Erika claims to have been the only one there today. It is 5:42pm and they close at 7pm which i can understand makes her anxious to go home. Not an excuse for horrible customer service! From the get go she had an attitude at the drive thu window. I gave her my order she responded with such attitude and entitlement when asking to verify the flavor. Yes Erika on the shipleys website it states "chocolate donuts as just chocolate" or with sprinkles. If i would have wanted them with sprinkles i would have stated that. Immediately after that she proceeds to the total of the order she thought was done. I explained i was not finished ordering when she again snapped without cause. Your shift ends at 7pm, if you are incapable of working till said time communicate that to your boss. Management do better when selecting your employees. Having your competitors right accross from you (Starbucks) why should we come to you with such horrible customer service from your emoloyees?

first time visit. it was a friendly walk in and quick counter service. i ordered a cheese&jalepeno kolache and donut holes. and was in and out in likes 5min or so. kolache was delicious and so were the donut holes!however, when i got home and was going to throw the bag away, i looked at the receipt and realized i was overcharged for the kolache. it was $3.09 on the screen when i glanced up and the receipt shows i was ring up for an entirely diff kind of kolache. the price diff is minimal but if this is a repetitive 'mistake', it could add up quickly to skimp off customers. ill like to assume this was an innocent oversight. but would caution for you to review your order and price on the screen before you pay!!

poor service all around, lady who was taking order at the speaker lacks manners. no good morning nor a thank you or you're welcome. asked my mother to repeat herself when she said coconut and i spoke for her because she cannot hear apparently. happened a couple more times and she doesn't even ask you to "repeat it please?". i ordered loud and clear and when it was time to pay i realized this sorry excuse of a food service worker forgot to charge some items i requested but i couldn't mention it because, well, she forgot to charge them. to add onto that, i saw her bagging our things roughly almost angrily and i held my eye contact with her. honestly it's embarrassing because i'm sure she wouldn't want her parents to go through such treatment if she were in the passenger seat. she would be quick to speak up for them too. she's just not fit for this job, anything in customer service. both of the ladies didn't say have a nice day or anything either. disgusting. but i've been reading the comments and needless to say this is the expectation this shipley has set. this is their bar. the bar is extremely low. it's repulsive knowing the shop is a year or so old too. now about the food, it seems old and a bit stiff. where the hell is my cinnamon twist? at least have the balls to say it was your mistake and not make your coworker give face for it. nonetheless much love to the past workers who've attended us and are sweet. today's worker was blonde and mexican most likely with lash extensions that weigh down her eyelids. probably young so of this generation and they are terrible with these kinds of jobs, no surprise. focus on hiring better people.

Was ordering and wen we went to the window I order I was the passenger my husband was the driver but he's voice was not feeling good to talk. The lady taking order was telling me for him to talk so she can feel better, after we had order, so was rude and said she couldn't hear us, I told her again wat I want but she steadily asking for my husband to speak., then she steadily look at me with a ugly face and rude, this is why people lose respect. Very rude lady but the lady who took r pay was so kind. Sorry she works thier she need more customers service

Great food, great atmosphere. I would have left five stars except the glazed donuts were cold.

I love the friendly staff at this location especially at 5 am lol ? who is excited at 5am?! ? ? uhhParking: The new shopping “strip” wasn’t designed for “busy” businesses ? So…the small parking lot gets congested-especially during peak hours. There’s a drive thru @Shipley’s which is supposed to help customer traffic. However this drive-thru line ,must EXIT with other passing vehicles stuck in lot looking for parking spots … then it creates a longer line than desirable for most since the drive thru is supposed to offer fast convenience.Kid-friendliness: It’s a DONUT ? Shop - Heck Yeah it’s “Kid Friendly”?

I always love coming to this location. Great customer service, and the line is long but always fast. Have never been there for more than 5 minutes.

I went in today (1-17-2024) at 2:50pm and the lady working at the counter was very rude and short tempered. She wouldn’t allow me to use my reward of a free donut that I have on the Shipleys app because the WiFi was not working. I eventually got the WiFi to connect on my phone and my reward was on the app but didn’t show up on the check out. I was there going back and forth for 10 minutes trying to use my reward but she wouldn’t let me. She told me “go to another donut shop then” and didn’t apologize for her mean behavior. She also said “well my phone works”. She didn’t help me figure out why I couldn’t use my rewards for the full 10 minutes I was there and she stood there in silence. I would at least expected her to just give me the free donut after me being there for 10 minutes but she did not. She demanded I had to use the reward even though it wouldn’t work. I left when she told me go somewhere else and she did not even say sorry for that or any thing. She also made me get onto dominoes WiFi which was next door.

Horrible! The lady working the front counter this morning (Jan 5th) wasn't friendly, obviously didn't want to be there. When I tried to explain to her about my food allergy and I needed mine in a separate bag, using a separate little wax paper sheet to get my donut, she just shrugged and said "So you don't want one" I again tried to explain that I have a severe food allergy, granted mine is a weird one, but still. She just gave me a blank look and asked "so you don't want one" I told her to forget it and walked out. People need to understand about food allergies and if someone is letting you know, you need to listen to them. She needs customer service and allergy sensitivity training.

I stopped by this location last Sunday mid-day and got some kolaches, 4 donuts and a large coffee. 1 donut was for someone who was not with us, so I was planning to hand it out to her in her bag once we met.I asked the girl (per the receipt her is Cindi) for an additional bag and she stated it was 50 cents! That this was the owners policy. I was like 50 cents for a donut bag?!Not even at the mall they charge you 50 cents for a big @ss bag and this greedy person wants to charge 50 cents for a small paper donut bag. I can understand 10 or 25 cents but 50!.. I wish I would've asked for it and got that answer before I paid so I would've left their cold @ss donuts there.Lesson learned to take my business elsewhere, I'll rather go to any Asian donut shop or the asian donut shop down the street, which they are always respectful and attractive towards their customers.

HOW TO LOOSE A REGULAR CUSTOMER FOR .50 cents. -I have to start this review by saying, I am a regular customer for this location. I stop by twice a week always in between 6-7am. It’s been very convenient for me as they have a drive through and fast service. And I drive by it every single day on my way to 99.I order for my clients 2-3 dozen kolaches every time. This location is always clean, I really didn’t have any complaints until the manager was the one helping me today. This morning I went by, ordered two dozen kolaches and a large cup of coffee. After I paid I asked the lady for an additional empty cup. She said it was .50 cents. I didn’t have any cash and a card transaction minimum was $5.I had to pull forward and wait for my order which was ok with me. I found a dollar bill and I went inside to get my additional empty cup. (Or so I thought). “Erika” hands me a small empty cup, I asked her for a large one and she is quick to tell me that she can’t sell a large cup. Keep in mind an EMPTY cup! I ask her to charge me a dollar it’s ok. She refused to, telling me that she can’t do that and they only sell the small cup for .50c.No problem, just let me cancel my order all together. She happily gave me a refund for my $73.22 order. She didn’t even care.I tell her that it’s called customer service and not a way to run a business. And she was being difficult with me since the beginning. She goes to tell me “I could have given you the cup” oh really? Whatever ma’am. She refused to give me her managers information saying that is private info. And she can’t share it.It all comes down to: What keeps a business afloat is your regular clients, and the way to keep people coming in is by providing a good accommodating service, easy on the customer. It’s so unfortunate how an employee like that can ruin a business. I personally will never stop by again. I will happily start ordering again from Kolache factory on the other side of the street. (They don’t have a drive through and that’s why I switched to this location). It wasn’t even about the money, little less the .50 cents.

Donuts not fresh, made early morning per staff. We went late afternoon. They only make them once daily. Had I known that I would only go to Westheimer location. Always hot and fresh.
