Home Depot is always a lifesaver for me. The last time I went in, I was totally lost trying to figure out which lightbulbs I needed for my apartment. One of the employees noticed me comparing boxes like I was reading a foreign language and came over with the biggest smile. He explained everything in simple terms, helped me find the exact right ones, and even carried an extra item to the register for me. That little moment turned what could’ve been a stressful trip into such an easy, pleasant experience. With helpful staff, clean aisles, and everything I need in one place.

A store full of lazy men, useless standing around on their phones. If you need any type of assistance with large items do not go here. Service is terrible. Shop at Lowe’s. Especially for mulch. Home Depot’s mulch is poor quality and rotted out.

Have you ever needed a special item and didn't know where to turn to in Home Depot?
Well, I got first hand in sight. You see I needed window screens for windows in my house, but Home Depot did not have the pre-fabricated ones. I was referred to the Pro Department of Home Depot and spoke to a wonderful young lady, whose supervisor, Jacob custom built these pre-fabricated window screens online. He was absolutely amazing! I will pickup these screens from Home Depot when they are ready!

I thought I would never see the day that minorities would be racial profiling minorities. What is this world coming to?
You see, I needed to purchase salt for my water filtration system and normally go through the glass doors to acquire said bags then come back in and pay for them. I asked the young Latino cashier just to ensure that this was still okay. He told me that I had to pay first; however, two men who were Asian and Latino, respectfully were allowed to get bags of salt without paying first and then went on about their business in the store.
I was doubled profile for being an African American and a female.
Also, the cashier made erroneous statements to justify his actions. He told me that my basket would lock once past the glass doors; however, both men each pushed a long bed and basket respectfully past the glass doors and they did not lock even when the long bed and basket came back thru.
Nonetheless, I requested that the Latino cashier summon his supervisor, who happened to be African American. While the Latino cashier apologized, he denied having racial profiled me. Whether he consciously did it or not, it was done.
The supervisor apologized and stated he would talk to the cashier, but honestly, the damage had been done. How do you fix something that appears engrained into someone? I guess with time.
By the way, I pushed my basket past the glass doors and it did not lock.
In conclusion, I have forgiven, but I have not forgotten and neither should you; nevertheless, you be the judge 🧑⚖️.

I went to Home Depot knowing my oven was gas and I measured it myself (correctly). On the first of 3 visits I was told they don't accept my word and have to send out a company to measure. I scheduled and had it measured. On the second visit I took the notes and came up on a Sunday. Nobody competent was working then in the department so the lady scrolled online and said I would have to reach out to the installed on Monday to know what models will work. The technician incorrectly thought my over was electric so on the 3rd visit to home depot at 7:30 at night (fastest I could arrive) there was no one competent in the department and lady tried really hard to help me from a different department. I purchased 3k worth of product and service on a debit card... The installers come out - recognize their mistake and say the over wont work. Home depot refuses to refund my money. It will take 2-3 weeks to get them to pick up their mistake and refund my money. Also their installer left my natural gas valve open and my house smelt like natural gas when I got home late on Friday. Please call me and come up with a better resolution than you are currently offering. 1507 - address #

Great location. Great choices, but like in any big store, make sure you ask at least two staff members the same question if you what to know for sure whether they have what you are looking for…:)

The store has staff that knows Absolutely nothing about Home repairs yet puts them on the floor to help customers in the areas for Home repair. Make it make sense . We also had staff in the appliance department, trying and help us when we were looking for a washer, dryer and fridge, and after telling them what we're looking for giving us their own personal opinion of what we should buy, and not buy based on their own experience with their appliances, rather than listening to the customer . We left and bought elsewhere.

I made a reservation for a truck rental a week in advance, but just at the last moment before I was supposed to pick it up, I received an email canceling my reservation. Totally unacceptable!!
