not coming back here after my kittens booster shots and honestly regretting choosing this place to get his first exam. we were told he had tapeworms which is no surprise to me cause he was a stray when i got him and he had fleas, my boyfriend and i put in the work for weeks to get rid of them and literally the day after we come back home from the vet i find fleas on him again, which should’ve been mentioned to me at the appointment, right??? so i’m back on square one and probably going to have to pay for more dewormer. be cleaner maybe

We moved to Katy back in July/2024 and having a senior dog, to find a good veterinarian was one of my main concerns. Dr. Brister and her team are a miracle to us. She takes such good care of my 2 dogs, she is super attentive to details and she really cares about their well being and health concerns! I 1000000% recommend her!

LOOOVE!!! We recently bought a new puppy and found the best veterinary clinic. April was the sweetest receptionist checking us in and putting us in a room explaining everything to us. The nurse resia was outstanding in explaining everything from top to bottom and very patient with us and our hyper puppy. Dr.Brister is an amazing vet explaining everything!! You all are so awesome I found my baby is dream vet team

I give this place 3 stars because they are really good with my pup and usually pretty quick. However, they do charge A LOT. Every time I go they charge an exam fee that is $45. Even for shots when they did an exam the 2 prior times I took her within a few weeks of each other. I do get why it's important to do an exam but at that price I end up paying more for the exam than the vaccines themselves. I'm looking for a different vet because of it. Bonus: the first exam is $75 it's a "vet exam". All the exams thereafter have been $45 "tech exams"

The front desk lady was very unfriendly. The 2 nurses I encountered and the Vet however were very pleasant. I did green I was being treated different because I was using a free visit coupon I got from their website. At least I hope that's why I felt that way.
There was an issue with my pet that I wrote on the appointment form and also told the the nurse that took us in when I got there. The wait was a quite long for the vet so by the time she came in and we discussed so much during the visit that I forgot to ask.
When was checking out with the unfriendly front desk person (FDP) I saw the doctor sitting in the waiting area talking to a client. I remembered my question and told the FDP I wanted to wait and talk to the doc when she's finished. She forced me to just tell her my question and gave me the basic answer I got from Google. Which I already knew. Which is why I wanted to talk to the person with the medical degree. Not behind the front desk.

I’ve been visiting different vets for my dog over the past six years, and Dr. Sydney Castillo at Vetco is one of the best I’ve come across. She took the time to thoroughly examine my dog, checking his whole body, and she explained her observations with clear, scientific examples. It was clear she had both the knowledge and genuine care for my pet, which really stood out.
However, when I returned to the store to pick up a prescription and schedule a follow-up X-ray, the rest of the staff could improve their customer service. Unfortunately, it seemed like their phone activity took priority over in-person customers, which isn’t what you expect when you’re there for your pet’s care. A little more attention to customer service would make the experience top-notch.

Resia did an amazing job at making my pup feel better when she was sick. She came in a greeted my dog with lots of love and helped me understand the complications my dog was having. I even had follow up questions that she was able to get resolved. Thank you so much!

My GrandDog Roe had a same day appt. I arrived on time and the receptionist took started the appointment right away. Resia, the technician when she walked into the examining room was great. Beautiful smile and great vibes. She listened actively to my concerns. Dr. Castillo was able to determine what treatment was needed and by 10:50, Roe and I were walking out.

Wonderful experience with this location. Each staff member I encountered was absolutely wonderful and caring. My cat is facing health issues at this time and the staff were so caring, took the time to explain everything and helped guide me. They went out of their way to provide me additional educational information, sent prescriptions out for me, took extra time to answer all my questions and make sure we have a plan for my cat’s care. I am confident in their ability to care for my cat.
