Went here yesterday to get a new card. Whoever the short, white lady with a bob working up there is rude as heck. Lacks customer service skills and literally had a stank a** face the whole time I was being serviced. Do better.

Where do I start with Woodforest. They are the most outdated bank I have done business with. The only way to activate their debit cards to to go to a branch and use the atm. There was fraud on my debit card, my account was drained, they only caught 2 of the smaller transactions, and reversed them. They said I would have to do a dispute for the rest of the charges even though they were only minutes apart. They make you come in to a branch and sign forms about the fraud, this took me about 30 minutes in the branch. They told me I would get the money back in 3-5 days. That's not the norm, first off. I called back in 4 business days to check on the status to find out the papers were never "sent in" from the branch I visited, so they can't process my money back to me. The customer service "manager" couldn't get ahold of the branch I signed papers at, so they have to request the papers electronically. I was on the phone for 25 minutes while she tried to get someone in the branch to answer the phone, just for her to tell me she couldn't help me today because no one would answer the phone at that branch. Then she continued to question me as if I never went in and signed the papers. They said they do not have to give me any type of provisional credit for the next 10 days and they will get back to me. This bank is a joke.

I wish I could give a 0 star!!! Everyone there is so rude nobody wants to help you. They cashed my check with the same company when my account was less than 30 days old. They cashed it and the deposit was there IMMEDIATELY. I come in a year later an addition account less than 30 days wanting to cash my check with SAME COMPANY and deposit it into my new account and dude said they can't cash my check because my account is less than 30 days old and they will put a 7 day hold on it!!!! I let him know they have done this before i year ago he can look at my other account and he basically shooed me off and said it is what it is. I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO THIS WOODFOREST. they are so disrespectful and don't care about their business.

I have a complaint in knowing our state had a National disaster due to hurricane Harvey put us behind in bills and trying to catch up ...my husband called to get the over draft waved as courtesy and he had to stop payment for a bike payment and they charged him an additional 35$ ..you should be more helpful and understanding to the circumstances ..let people catch up with the disaster relief checks from FEMA

Horrible banking policy. So I just picked up money from Western Union via this bank. Upon giving them the tracking and my ID in order for them to give me cash they need me to give them my thumb print. I began to wonder if this is a new policy as I have never had to do this in the past with WU. The teller informed me that it's their bank policy but if you're not a member you will get finger printed. I asked why. She said because I am cashing a check. I informed her I am not cashing a check because you are now working as a WU representative therefore you were sent money on their behalf which I am picking up. Why would you treat people like criminals to receive funds? This never happened with customer service on walmart so why are they doing this? I have never done it at any other WU but this bank treats their non members that way. And they need customers? Fat chance! I will never bank or receive any services from them.
