My son’s duplex was neglected by Gillin. They supposedly “lost their lease agreement” and raised their rent after promising not to in the middle of a lease. They had a rat infestation for the 21 months they lived there. They said they would send someone once a month and only sent someone one time. Gillin defaulted on the lease because they did not maintain anything that needed repairs; electrical outlets, a mold problem, rats, no working smoke detectors, no fire extinguishers, a busted back fence and gate that caused my son to have to pay money for his dog getting out, and so much more. Per Texas law, they have to refund a deposit, since the termination of lease was their fault, within 30 days of moving out. Their excuse for not refunding it was the owner is “out of the country”. The duplex next door to them was over run with raccoons and the ceiling caved in, causing termination of lease for them.
They called the local fire dept. for some neglected things on the structure of the property, when given the info the fire dept. knew all too well who they were dealing with. They are rude, manipulative, unprofessional, and do NOT maintain their properties according to the laws. Do not rent from them!
(The photos are a few of rat droppings and holes in the floor and walls eaten by the rats, as well as mold in the shower. They also ate much of our food and even our clothing.)

This lady slandered me in a public meeting. She claimed things that are false, and arrogantly refuses to retract her statements. When I called her to talk and let her know she's wrong, and has me confused with someone else, she got rude and hung up on me.She cannot be trusted to keep a story straight, and has lied about me twice, in public and on tape, and to me once, in front of witnesses, regarding another issue after she lost a local political race.I would not trust her for anything.

Samantha was fantastic! She was very patient with us and showed us a lot of houses. She helped us find something in an area we hadn't considered before, and it turned out perfect! These people bought 218 E Bridge st apartments in Granbury Texas. They wouldn't renew my lease because I have PTSD .They threw me out with my brothers ashes and I have been homeless for 3 years right here in Granbury Texas! These people are awful ..I pray every day that people don't rent from these people.. Do yourself a favor.
