If I could give no stars ii would!
I had been renting a unit here since Jan. 2024.
I always used auto pay so it was never late. Aug, 2024, I ran into some finance trouble and I knew it was going to be late.
I contacted the office and told them it would be caught up by the end of the month. I even paid $130, which was more than the rent.
I received emails from them telling me it was about to be sold, but there was no sale date given.
A friend agreed to pay
my balance of $226 on the 25th, and that's what I told Public Storage the evening of the 24th.
I called the office around 8:30 on the 25th and was told that my unit had been sold and was being loaded up.
I was furious! told them that I could pay it, but was told it was out of their hands.
I asked the girl in the office to please ask the buyer to call me, to ask if I could at least get all my personal pictures back. I have no way of knowing if she really did, so Im sure 70 years of pictures ended up in their dumpster!
I even asked for the buyers number so that I could call him myself, but was told it was against policy.
So, I am an 70 year old, disabled woman who has lost all of my furniture, and hundreds of priceless pictures and momentos that can never be replaced! All because I owed them $226, that was not even a month late.
They could not wait a few more hours for the payment.
So, NO, I will not recommend Public Storage on Riverside Drive to anyone.
STAY AWAY. TAKE YOUR BUSINESS SOMEWHERE ELSE.

When I walked in I didn’t expect the amazing experience that i received from Sesily. She was extremely helpful and was able to answer each question I had. She showed me the units to verify the correct size and made my overall experience great. Definitely will recommend this location and Sesily to help them out
