My husband and I came around 615 On Friday night to eat the buffet. Online it shows buffet open until 8pm. The guy that rang us up, informed us that a wrestling team was there and that's why the buffet looked empty. We made plates of what was there and were waiting on more pizza to come out. Only 3 more pizzas were put out plus some desserts, which weren't pizzas we would would eat (bbq chicken). The wrestling team left around 7ish so we were waiting for more pizza to come out since we would get more options. No more pizzas were brought out. I went to ask and they said buffet was closed. We paid $36 for 2 buffets and sodas were included in that price. I had 3 slices(1 burnt but that's all I could get) & my husband had about 6 slices. I wouldn't be upset @ the price had we been able to get more pizza on buffet. Since there were no signs saying a time the buffet ended, the cashier could've said we aren't putting many more pizzas out or that it ended @ a certain time.

Was my first time here and Seth was AMAZING! He was very knowledgeable about the menu and answered all of my questions. He recommended that I get the Philly Cheesesteak Stromboli and I have to say, it was very delicious! He also suggested the snickerdoodle dessert pizza, which is to die for! The buffet wasn't going at the time, but I will definitely be back to try all of the other pizzas and desserts. Hats off to Seth, he seemed to thoroughly enjoy his job and putting smiles on people's faces.

We were enjoying a nice sunny day at Bear Creek and searched for a pizza place to have lunch. It was 4 minutes away so we thought about giving it a try. Being our first time here, it was a great ambience and wonderful customer service. We give it 3 stars for the pricing and pizza. Not knowing they had a pizza buffet and upon our arrival being wowed by the delicious salad bar that took me back to my childhood pizza place, we made an abrupt decision to purchase the buffet. However, they charged $9.99 per child, which in regular restaurants, you can get a decent meal for $5.99-6.99. Our children are 3 and 6 years old and only ate about 3 slices of pizza and a small drink. We ended up paying $48 for a lunch. The pizza was okay. Crust was thin and I was full with only two slices since I made two trips to the salad bar. Not sure if there was a different price only for the salad bar. Didn't think about asking. Anyways, being in a tight budget and being a family of four, it hurt our wallet but we are thankful we were able to support the business.

Hello Double Dave’s Keller! I love your food and drive almost an hour to eat it however this is the second time I have made the drive to find a note on the door saying “Closed Early”. There is no note of this on your Facebook page, Google didn’t have temporary updated hours, and your webpage didn’t mention it either. There is no answering message when I call. The phone answers like someone is going to pick up and then disconnects. I love your food but I won’t make this drive again. Do better for your customers. Thanks.

Drove 45 minutes to try this location, to find out that the buffet has certain hours. Didn't see that anywhere online.

We got the lunch buffet, and they had a few options available and asked if we wanted anything specific to be put out. The pizza was okay, nothing worth bragging about. The reviews definitely have it more hyped up than it needed to be. I prefer Cicis over this, just my opinion.

I am a writer who has lived in Buda for 17 years. My wife and I found Double Dave's place about two years ago... and it has brought us so much nostalgia of when we used to go to Pizza places during our younger years. Those days when we would go to the pizza restaurant and our parents to order a pitcher of coke and a large pizza and then to sit down and eat. And decades have passed, and so much has changed in life and pizza places have gone away. We love this place and have made it our nostalgic, romantic, poetic place where we go have our weekly pizza, pitcher of beer, and remember 40 years of being together... thank God there is still a place to sit and be with my best friend and have an awesome pizza and a pitcher of beer. All of you at Double Dave's at Buda are awesome... Thank you.

This places has gone downhill over the years. Found out about this place from my mother who went to Texas A&M which it's founded by someone who went there. We were expecting the food to be good as always but it wasn't. The pizza changed recipe and it's now thin and just awful. They barely had anything out that was good (like the pizza rolls and dessert) the buffet cost $53 for only 3 people. It never used to be that high. This was honestly a terrible experience will not be visiting this place for buffet again.
