Scam Alert! (Keller Branch)- Pulled into their shop and spoke to a guy named John at the front desk. He clearly told me the diagnostic fee was $100, and I agreed.
Later, I get a call with a quote for $2,100 (parts + labor) for a simple vacuum pump replacement — something that costs nowhere near that. They literally marked up the part by 4x and then piled on the labor. Total rip-off.
So obviously, I told them not to do the repair. When I came back the next day just to pay the diagnostic fee and pick up my car, John suddenly tells me it’s $217 for diagnostics! Are you kidding me?? I reminded him he clearly said $100 — and he goes, “Oh, I’ll change the price to $100 then.”
Unbelievable. What kind of “professional” shop plays games like that? The guy is a complete scam artist, and the place is a joke.
Avoid this place at all costs. Don’t waste your time or your money dealing with dishonest people like this.

I moved to Fort Worth about four years ago, and at that time I had a company Silverado, so all service work went to Joe & Driver’s Edge and costs were handled through fleet. During this time I didn’t have any major issues with them because the service was an oil change, tires rotated etc.About a year and a half ago, when I retired, I began bringing in my Infiniti Q70 for service.
On one visit, Joe checked my tires and recommended I replace them with Toyo tires at roughly $330 each. I purchased one, and shortly after, Joe contacted me saying he had two more in stock that another customer had ordered but never picked up. I agreed to purchase another one.
Within a week of that purchase, I noticed the tire had a slow leak and required me to add air every other day. I returned and explained the issue to the assistant manager, who told me to come back when Joe was available. After multiple attempts, I was repeatedly told he was unavailable.
Later, I had to take my Infiniti to the dealership for fuel injection service that ended up lasting six weeks. During that time, they confirmed that:
• The tires were not balanced or aligned.
• The tire with the least tread had been installed on the front.
• The Toyo tire purchased from Joe had a slow leak that could not be repaired because the damage was too close to the sidewall.
This meant I had paid over $300 for a defective tire. Since no resolution or replacement was offered, I refused to purchase another tire from your location and instead bought a Firestone tire from another NTD dealer. I even showed your staff the receipt from Infiniti proving the car was with them for six weeks, yet I was never offered a replacement tire, credit, or even a discount.
I feel strongly that the tire I purchased was already defective when it was sold to me, and the way the situation was handled was extremely disappointing. In fact just recently I had a slow leak and triple A the night before put on the and showed me where the slow leak was on the tire. I had a tire that needed to just needed to placed on the rim of the tire that just was taken off. Unfortunately, triple a doesn’t have the equipment to do that so the next day I took it to Drivers E and the tire was replaced but Joe did not put the tire that he exchanged back in the trunk and when I asked him where my tire was nobody was able to answer., had called 14 times since then and every time whoever picks up the phone says he not in…. It doesn’t matter the day of time that call. So I had to by another tire- which made it 4 in less than a year and a half. The fact that I haven’t received a call back and the assistant manager does not have an answer every time I speak to him is unexcitable. I will never do business with them about. The condescending attitude and the nonchalant nature of how they do business is sad.
I’m requesting that someone from upper management to review this matter and make it right—at minimum, with a replacement tire or reimbursement for the defective one.

The total cost, which was less expensive than any other quote i had gotten, was exactly the same as the original quote. They did a great and thorough job. Also a very friendly staff. I definitely recommend them.

I didn't even know about this place. I needed a battery replacement, and was recommended to them by AutoZone. It was near closing when I got there, but I could not tell with how courageous they were. They took care of my issue and give me a good price on labor. I will be back if I have other car needs in the future and would recommend them to anyone.

Brought my key in for major coolant leak that was causing overheating. Spent a couple of hours waiting for a diagnosis and was told they weren't sure exactly where the leak was coming from. To be sure, the would need to take the top of the engine apart on Monday (it's Saturday) and then let me know when it will fixed. In the meantime, I was given a $1500+ quote when it's fixed with $800+ just being labor. With such a high quote and having to wait for days, I decided to tow the car away. However, with no clear diagnosis made, I was required to pay for diagnosis before taking the car away. It all felt like driver's edge made a bad day even worse for me.

I came in with a flat. The crew was able to get me my tires delivered overnight and had them changed first thing, at a competitive cost!

2 instances.
3 months ago, tried to get my car inspected. Three guys behind counter said they couldn’t do it because it was raining.
Today, got a coupon in the mail. Called the establishment to check how long it would take to get my breaks done; was quoted “an hour, maybe a hour and a half.” , made a 1pm appointment. Dropped the car off, guy behind the counter told me “maybe 4pm 415pm…”
Checked back at 315pm , car hadn’t moved from parking spot, hadn’t even been looked at. Another guy behind the counter told me “hopefully by the end of the day…”
Someone educate me what is the point of making an appointment is? Left both times with nothing being done, not even an apology.
Take your business elsewhere unless you enjoy misleading information. Added a star because at least the last guy was somewhat friendly.

I was nearby and had a half hour free, so I stopped by to have a new tire I bought elsewhere, mounted on a rim and balanced. They did the job in 15 minutes and even advised me that the rim had some rust that needed to be removed, otherwise it could transfer to the lug nuts.
The service was outstanding and the salesman was very courteous and most helpful. If I need tire or tire work in the future, I'll definitely use Driver's Edge. Pricing was reasonable as well.
