Bought mushrooms for a stir-fry. Noticed when I got home the bag they were in smelled terrible. I thought it was the bag. Then when I went to cook them I realized it was the mushrooms that smelled like ammonia. I started steaming them and they smelled so bad I threw them out. Googled ammonia smell in mushrooms and it means an overgrowth of BACTERIA. I hope Natural Grocers in Keller will disinfect their entire produce area where their mushrooms are. I am now afraid to buy produce there. Luckily I didn't cook anything else with the mushrooms, but I had had them on a platter with the other vegetables, so I washed them extra and sterilized the platter.

I live very close to a Natural Grocers and was happy to find they sell an item I couldn't find any where else, not even at Sprouts. The only other place I found it is at Amazon and it's a lot cheaper at this place than Amazon!

Really love Natural Grocers as a chain, but I would be lying if I said I wasn’t really frustrated with this location today. We drove all the way here after being told by the manager last week that they would have things back in stock by this weekend. I understand a Cyber Attack took place that caused issues, we spoke about it at length with the manager because we were worried the store was going out of business. They have had stock issues before in the past as well, so it seemed more than plausible. It would have been nice to have been told that it was possible they would need more time to get their shelves restocked, and to call before coming in to check if they had the items we needed. Instead we were assured it would be resolved by this weekend. Based on that information we planned the trip to come up only to be greeted once again by empty shelves, not even replacement options for items like Whole Milk. I was frustrated over the loss of time and gas, tried to express this to the girl up front as nicely as I could, and immediately saw I was not being taken seriously at all. Instead, just labeled as some complaining “Karen”. She did not seem to care or even try to understand, just looked at me with a smug grin on her face as if she thought it was funny. That response is what honestly made the entire thing feel way worse and honestly infuriated me. Customers are what make her paycheck even possible. Apparently she also decided to laugh about it with other customers as I left the store instead of being apologetic or even considerate of the circumstances or situation I was put in. We ended up having to drive even further out to Central Market, but it will be worth the extra miles if we can avoid this in the future. We come to this location usually once a week to get specific items and we give them a lot of business despite their constant supply issues and underwhelming produce. I just expected some common courtesy and respect as a loyal customer, but I guess that isn’t part of this location’s business model. I also want to add to another reviewer’s comment about finding expired and old items. We also have found this to be true. Its why I don’t trust their in house ground peanut butter and a lot of their bulk items. #naturalgrocers Please do better.

I recently discovered this place and definitely plan to go back. The fruits and vegetables are fresh and well-stocked. Overall, it is a pretty good spot for quality produce and a pleasant shopping experience.

Stopped by on a whim and if you really like paying a lot more for your groceries then you should shop here. Many brands I have never heard of.

Poorly ran! I had to sit on the bench outside until the guy inside opened the door AFTER 8:27. The store isn’t stocked, they are very suspicious. I appreciate nature grocers but this location is filled with wickedness.

Mainly come here for the live brand kombucha. Really a great alternative to regular HFCS drinks. They have friendly staff, clean aisle, decent clearance section and nice variety of food. If you come on the right day you might see a Cyber Truck. Yeah, that Homer Simpson-designed vehicle. lol!
