Karen Kalvig helped me with my new boots. I started this job where I average 13,000 steps a day. My feet were killing me and I had spent a lot of money on boots to help my feet. When I came in the store Karen helped describe the condition I was getting (plantar fasciitis) I probably misspelled it but anyways she fit a sole for me and recommended some boots. I can honestly say that I can make it through the day without my feet hurting on and off my feet. Thank you Karen and I hope you are still doing well.

Called and showed up 5 mins till close and they were already closed! Why do companies allow their employees to shut down a store before it’s time. It closes at 6pm today! This post is even made before 6pm.. SUCKY SEEVICE. Do better!!

Karen Kalvig great representative for this company. Took care of all of my boot needs. Helped me find not one but two great pairs of boots, socks, boot dryer, shoe horn and these hooks that help you get your boots on. Great customer service.

I was told, that people buying shoes are more important and a first priority over those bringing thier shoes in for lace replacement and getting them sprayed for water resistance.
I Love the boots and I have been a customer of Red Wing for over 20 years. The fit, comfort and durability of the shoes are awesome. The perks of free lace replacement and water sealant were what made me choose Red Wing over another company.
I have moved since buying my last pair of shoes and now the closest Red Wing to me is an hour away. I brought my shoes in because my wire shoelace broke. I was told I needed to drop my shoes off and it would take 2 or 3 days to change the lace. I said I am an hour away and I need my boots for work, I asked if I could just get the laces and I would do it myself. He was nice enough to finally change the broken lace, but when I asked for the second lace so I could change the other boot lace myself because the wire was about to brake, I was told to bring it back. I said ok because I had to make the trip back up in a couple weeks anyways.
I brought my shoes to them again to change the second lace and have the water resistance spray put on. I was told again that I needed to leave them. I was not going to do that since I was wearing them, I needed them for work and I was not driving an hour just to pick up boots that should only take 30 min max to take care of. I was then told, that people buying shoes are more important and are a first priority over those bringing thier shoes in for lace replacement and getting them sprayed for water resistance.
I was planning on buying a new pair within the next couple of months, but I will not buy them from here and I might even not buy Red Wing at all. Good job on losing a a long time customer.

I will never buy another pair of work boots from any other company! Karen Kalvig is the best at what she does and created a perfect customer experience from start to finish. Give her a raise or a promotion or a bonus or all three she deserves it and more. I could not give a higher recommendation for anyone. All I can say is thank you Karen Kalvig and Thank you Redwing!
