“There are a lot of items, and it's surprising that even though the prices are cheap, the quality is incredibly good. They also sell seasonal items. For example, when I recently visited at the beginning of February, they already had items for sale for the Valentine's Day season. The staff here also provide good service.”
“I was really surprised at how caring the GM at this store was, my coupons wouldn't go through, I showed him it did apply and he was so carry he honor them. It was just a nice surprise, I go to Dollar General several in the area and while everyone is nice no one had truly gone above and beyond like him.”

Tonight, she checked me out at register 2... i only had a few Halloween decorations, and she didn’t know this, well. she DID know actually.. but not from me... but the last few day’s of my life have been HELL. Catherine and i spoke very little actually, but an old soul like hers recognizes pain behind peoples smiles.Catherine, I hope you never ever let this cruel world take away your kind heart. If one wants to leave, that’s your choice. But, see how far your money goes at regular stores.

“This store was extremely clean and all three ladies were super helpful. I went to this location after a terrible experience I had at the League City Pkwy location. My review for the is as follows: down the aisle where I was waiting and asked me if the young man had told me that they didn’t have it. I feel it was so quick that she didn’t look thoroughly, but that of course was an assumption. Then the two older women were having a conversation about “someone” told me they had inventory and twisted my words around because they clearly didn’t listen. The facial expressions they made were completely inappropriate and unprofessional. I didn’t hold back from pointing out their actions and behavior. One lady tried to apologize. She said she didn’t know I was talking to her and the other lady with the bandage on her wrist gave me the hand gesture as to shut me up. These women obviously take advantage of the young man on the register while they sit in the office complaining about the store instead of putting away inventory. Thankfully the 518 & 45 location had over 20 cartons. I purchased 4, but someone from Corporate needs to assess the League City Parkway location because that store is a mess! And those women complaining about the company probably need to retire.

“I have been going to hwy 3 family dollar off and on for awhile and in the last 2 months I finally managed to get a woman employee who is a single mother of 5, has a life struggle with a disability that she has had from birth.I feel compelled to give ms Sarah a big hug and say thank God for you ? lady you make my visit you make my visits to your store a pleasure please don't ever trade locations.You go above and beyond the job your pay slot...Plus your smile iso pretty as well as inviting never fake like the other people I have encountered with at this store, sarah never let anyone steal your smile, joy or love you have I have you and your family in my prayers.Always ms lou”

“We had shied away from this store before, shelves were empty, it was dirty messy, we visited today 7-28-23 I was so very surprised, very clean, organized shelves, stocked very well, very polite & helpful staff, I'm impressed ?????.Great job?????”
“A little disheveled as far as organization. Pretty well stocked. They have a grocery section with milk, snacks, crackers as well as clothes, gardening supplies, laundry detergent etc etc. Lots of parking. Appears to be safe. Well lit parking area.”

“Jeffrey( I don’t know if I’m spelling his name properly ) is so sweet!! I have never had a bad experience with him and he’s always professional…. He saw me struggling carrying things in my hand and he immediately stopped what he was doing and grabbed me a bucket. Employees with character are hard to come by and employers should do their best to keep those like him!!”

I'm at Dollar General now, after visiting the besieged Dollar Tree.And so far it seems that things will be better here.But no, exactly what I'm looking for is not there. In other words, it's enough to show them that among all the very extensive and well-stocked inventory of this mini Super Store, perhaps the ONLY thing it doesn't have is what I'm looking for: a garland that says "Happy New Year."The only thing I found was this purple ribbon that seems more appropriate for a Halloween.I will insist...(The photographs and videos that appear in this opinion have been taken by the person who signs this).”

Firstly EVERYTIME I come in she’s always working but when she hears me speak she stops & says heyyyy . “Last night I was having the most difficult time getting my card to work when paying for my sons silly cups and snacks . For the life of me I couldn’t get my Apple Pay to function correctly . Not only was the young lady checking me out very kind and extremely patient ( as I was trying my card over and over ) when I tried to leave without my merchandise she jumped around the counter and paid for my items herself ! It was only a few dollars and all but the gesture was beautiful! I couldn’t believe how sweet she was . She simply said “ it’s for your baby of course ! “ . I give this store a 5 stars for great employees! Keep up the great selection !”
“This is an update to a review made awhile ago which was a 1 star. The store has made many changes looks more like a Dollar General. (Same floor plan) but best of all the staff has changed. Cashiers are friendly and helpful. Manager is on top of things going on at the store. So I'm changing rating from 1 Star to 4. Would give 5 stars if floor plan was not a copy of other branded store.”

“I was having difficulty finding travel sized items that I had missed while packing for a business trip. Joyce, Assistant?? Manager helped me find my items, was extremely friendly, and made suggestions for alternate items when I couldn't find exactly what I needed. I will shop here again.”
