Sales associate at the Kemah store #2980 needs to be trained on the Sally Beauty Return Policy
Love It or Return It guarantee. Wella changed the color formula, my normal color is now darker and more red. I was not allowed to exchange the 2 new boxes I bought during the recent sale for a different shade because I have no receipt. She wished she could help but there is nothing she can do without receipt, I can contact customer service if I don't like her answer. I am not a happy customer.

Very disappointed this location used to my favorite associate hung up on me while I was still talking and was giving false information about a store policy had to call customer service to double check that the policy was still in fact the same and got great help from her and good information so huge shout out to her but very upsetting that the associate hung up on me while I was still asking information about the stores love it or return it policy on products.

I went into this store today 3/27/2024 around 11:20am and Victoria was working. She was absolutely wonderful. She helped me pick out the perfect color for my hair and used her personal experiences to help me. The card reader went down when I was trying to pay and she did everything in her power to help me, which ended up being for me to do an online order and pick it up shortly after.
Thank you so much for your help Victoria! The red covered the blue beautifully! ??

amazing store but crazy customers, if you go in expect to hear someone upset about something completely irrelevant to anything in that store, lol!

I went to return some items to this store today 10/23/21. The items I was returning were purchased at a different store at which they told me that I could return the products I was purchasing if I wasn’t happy with the results. so I didn’t think anything of it and I sure didn’t think it would be that big of an issue for the manager of a different store to just say ma’am we can’t honor that return here just take them back to the store you purchased them from. but instead of keeping it professional the manager told me and the whole store I could save the products for another time and put them under my sink which is completely insulting because I was being very respectful till she started ranting and going on obviously if I’m wanting to return items the reason behind that would be that I’m not planning on using them again and all she had to say is i’m sorry we can’t honor that return and I would have been on my merry way rather than insulting and embarrassing a customer. I’m really shocked that this behavior or someone with this attitude should be able to keep her job. I won’t be returning and I definitely don’t suggest anyone come here either. The league city Sally’s on gulf freeway s is a little bit of a drive but they are very helpful and understanding.

The store manager took attitude when I balked at the new "we're charging you if you want a bag" policy at checkout. I have no issue with the incentive for people to bring their own reusable bags. I bring my own bags to HEB every time. But I have an issue with waiting until a customer is in the middle of checking out to tell them and then pointing to a tiny sign next to the register and then taking attitude with a customer for being frustrated about it. Why not place that sign on the door or window (facing out) in an appropriate size so that customers know to bring a bag in? Why not tell a customer prior to checkout? Why not act like you care instead of telling a customer to "call corporate"? Why not realize customers have a choice and don't have to shop here?

I have been coming to this location for YEARS and felt Sally's had somewhat of a standard for customer service because I never had a bad experience, until now. I came in and asked for temporary hair color for natural colors and was told they had them. I looked but had to ask again so one associate came to show me and realized they did not. She was helpfuland from another locatiln but offered a solution. As I was looking at the colors, the mamager turned the lights off with NO announcement. It was 5:58. I put what I had in myhands back on the shelf and decided to go to another location to get what I had already decided on. She was so rude and did not even say a word. Just glared.

I haven't visited this place in years. My daughter decided that she needed magenta hair so we stopped in to see what we could find. Julie greeted us at the door, showed us everything we would need and explained how to use it. We were out within 10 minutes. A majority of that time was picking a color. Julie was very patient with my daughter while she chose and explained which colors would work best for her. Ended up spending around $20. I highly recommend Sally's after this trip!
