Natalie was very unprofessional. I visited roughly 6:30pm tonight. Natalie seemed to have something wrong from the approach. I brushed it off, but then couldn’t take it anymore from her tossing the small bottles, slamming the cans down, and having an unpleasant vibe. I finally just told her to not worry about it as I’ll take my money somewhere else and not have to continue with her attitude.

I went to the Kemah Specs. I bought a really cool whiskey smoking kit online for a loved one for Father’s Day. I wanted to buy a really good whiskey to pair with it. I went to the Kemah Specs because I was shopping in the area. As I stood in the whiskey section, I was approached by an older female employee. Not knowing much about Whiskey, I asked her if she could recommend something. She looked at me like I had two heads and didn’t know. I then looked at my phone because I had some AI suggestions so I began to search for the one’s AI had recommended. I grabbed a bottle of 1835 Bourbon. I then went to the wine section. I’m not much of a drinker but I like to buy different Tequilas, Wines, Vodkas, and now Whiskeys. I enjoy trying new bottles and display them. I’m more of a sipper on relaxing evenings. I was approached by another male employee. He asked if he could help me. I told him the same thing that I was looking for a good whiskey to smoke with a whiskey smoking kit. He too looked at me like I had two heads. He then kept stating, “I hope someone is going to drink that. I hope someone is going to drink that. It’s really good whiskey.” I told him that of course we are going to drink it. Then a third employee approached me and asked if I was going to drink that because it was good whiskey. I was confused why I was getting so much attention. They were acting like I had just picked up the Holy grail and might drop it. I’m a 54 year old grandmother in yoga pants and a tshirt. No bag or purse. Just my Michael Kors wallet in hand. Did they think I was going to shoplift??? Where would I put a whole whiskey bottle? I then said, “ Dang, if it’s that good I should buy two bottles.” I then bought two bottles of 1835 Bourbon, one for the gift and another for me. At this point I had to try this “really good” whiskey. I didn’t continue shopping because I was made to feel like I don’t belong in there. My two heads and dragon tail might knock something over. My loved one loved my gift and the whiskey. As for me, it was ok. I’ll keep trying new ones. I usually go to the Specs on Nasa Parkway or the one on Bay Area Blvd. They are much nicer and they don’t tag team stalk me. I think I will not be shopping at the one in Kemah and continue to go to the ones on Nasa and Bay Area. At those they don’t stalk me and they probably know what a whiskey smoking kit is. Lol smh
