A wonderful apartment with very friendly staff! Application process was smooth sailing. ? (initially 5 star)Update, 2 years later (Changed to 3 stars):The staff are still quite friendly. However, they increase your rent by $200 every year upon lease renewal. This isn't livable after awhile and keeps you from living here long term. Won't be coming back or renting any further due to this. The view from a couple of buildings in the back could be better. You see the RV park next door and it's not the best. Some neighbors leave trash and clutter outside without repercussions until corporate comes. The lake is beautiful with a trail. The office has mini events and food truck Fridays most weeks.

I liked what I saw, the application process was swift and painless! When it was time to get me keys, Kim showed me around and took me to my new place. They both answer my questions freely and quickly. So far I am loving my stay here

Unbelievable lack of sympathy for residents for multiple reasons, but the most recent being for the fact that my car is in the shop for a week and the office refuses to give me a temporary permit in the mean while. Apparently, the temporary parking pass policy is only valid if you don’t have your vehicle for 30 days. Absurd! I’m result, I have to walk my four year old from the visitor parking to my apartment for a week. The ONLY visitor parking is a five minute walk from my apartment (10 minute with a toddler). They offered to give me a temporary pass but that still would only be valid in visitor parking…. So there’s no point. Even after explaining my concern for me and my daughters safety walking alone that far, they refused to adjust their unreasonable rule. I understand there are rules in place, but there should also be a common sense approach to handle these isolated situations.****Update****My car got towed the day after I posted this review… but I assume there was not any retaliation involved….I parked at the opposite end of the apartment complex but apparently I parked in resident parking that was adjacent to the visitor parking. I take responsibility of the oversight, however, if I really intended to park in resident parking I would have parked next to my apartment! Then, after reading the parking policy that they enforce, I realized that ALL vehicles in guest parking MUST have a blue temporary tag. When I went back to the office to get this tag, I was told that I don’t need one despite what the policy says. After insisting on a tag, the manager gave me a piece of paper to place in my windshield… but still not the blue tag described in THEIR policy and if it wasn’t for my persistence they wouldn’t have provided me with a tag at all. It appears they only enforce SOME policies… that are convenient to them. After recieving my make shift parking permit, I noticed not ONE car in guest parking has a guest parking pass. According to their parking permit addendum, all those cars should be towed but they only enforced towing in my car as retaliation for giving a bad reviewMy daughter loves living at these apartments, but poor management is going to fail this complex.

My fiance and I went in to see an apt and it looked amazing and price was reasonable. When we went back we spoke to Brandon and my fiancé explained to him that we had concerns because although I have police reports and in process of getting a broken lease off my credit we were afraid it won’t be approved. Brandon told my fiancé not to worry that to do an application. We asked if we could do it just in his name, Brandon said I would have to do one and when it comes back denied he will just remove me and do it in his name only. That they needed me to do one to show who is living there. I said it didn’t make any sense but okay he said not to worry he will have it approved. So we paid 77 dollars each! for an app and then paid 300 deposit which he said would be refundable. We then get an email we were denied. So my fiance calls Brandon and we were told he’s not there. We asked about what he said he could do to be told that’s not true. They can’t do that. We told the lady he said he could if not we wanted the deposit (money order) back. She then stated we can’t we have to mail you it… why we didn’t mail the apts it! She said to call Brandon so we call Brandon when he’s back at work to ask why were we told he could get it approved when that wasn’t true. Not to mention he can’t take me off I have to be on lease the lady said. He said he would call back and never did. We gave him a week and still no call. I finally call and ask for money order back he says it was mailed out and I had to ask the date to be sure just to be told it will take up to 30 days! Ridiculous this is something that they should tell people up front before paying it and not lie about removing people from app when the manager of property stated that was false! Very bad for business. Money isn’t the issue but it’s the principle of making us waste 144 dollars for apps and now waiting on a deposit return! Also lying to us.Its sad because the property is beautiful. Thankfully the towers of Seabrook were completely amazing upfront and helped get us approved no lies or run around.

DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT RENT HERE. THIS PLACE HAS BED BUGS IN THIER APARTMENTS. APPARENTLY WHEN YOU SIGN THE 100 PAGE DOCUSIGN LEASE AGREEMENT, YOU SIGN AN ADDENDUM THAY CLEARS THEM OF THIS RESPONSIBILITY. Summbrooke APARTMENTS doesn't even deserve 1 star. Good luck to all future renters here, sign at your own risk.

This place is a beautiful place to live. Nice interior but the units with washer and dryers they don't seem to have a routine of cleaning out the dryer vents behind the dryers. I have a client living here, he is a disabled vet. He can't do this on his own. He had the washer and dryer removed and I cleaned as far back in the vent as I could. Today maintenance came and got a wad more of stuff in the vent. My option is that they should do this routinely and for the disabled in there complex. If cleaned routinely you won't have to keep drying ur clothes as much and ur light bill will go down.

Ask for Brandon when talking to an agent. He was extremely helpful when we were touring the apartments, and answered any questions we had. We had an unpleasant interaction with a tenant when leaving the complex; we talked to Brandon afterward who alleviated our concerns and made us feel better about the situation. The workers seem very adamant about addressing the concerns of tenants. We’ve been apartment shopping, and still are, but Summerbrooke is at the top of our list.

The apartment itself was very nice. However, I did not have a good experience with the management. It started when after I moved in, they didn’t give me a parking pass and had my truck towed off and it cost $330 to get back. And then after trying to move out, because I didn’t give them enough notice, they decided to charge me an additional $3,000! This apartment complex lacks good communication with their residents and as a result, they try everything they can to get more money out of you. I paid for for a one bedroom apartment on the third floor than other residents did with a two bedroom apartment on the first floor! I do not recommend these apartments if you have another choice.
