We dropped off our two male kittens for a neuter and when we went to pick them up they were OUTSIDE of the clinic in their kennels. They reek of piss and we can't bathe them since they were just fixed.I can't believe any self respecting clinic would leave 2 helpless kittens that AREN'T their cats, outside for anyone to take.Absolutely ridiculous behavior.

We just picked up our two kittens for a neuter, when we arrived they were outside in their kennels! After they were caught doing this we were told they "were only outside for 15 minutes"... honestly that probably bullshit. They stink of piss and we cannot bathe them right away since they were just fixed. Cannot believe this, anyone could've taken our cats and this clinic would've been none the wiser. If you care about your animals, please take them somewhere else. Literally ANYWHERE else.

Poor Kit the cat had a horrible skin problem. Was seen and diagnosed and today is feeling much better. So much appreciated for painlessly getting him back on track. Kathleen ?

We took our baby pug in that we had just gotten. She was about 9 months old. We had still not had time to vaccinate her but she was not feeling well. She had not eaten in 2 days and was vomiting and lethargic so we took her in. They said they would not vaccinate her with her being sick. They called to tell us they did not find anything wrong with her and that it was probably the heat and vaccinated her anyways even though there was something clearly wrong with her. They gave her all vaccines at once for the first year. We picked her up and she was acting very different and by that evening she passed away. I called to tell them this and the guy said he would talk to the vet and give me a call back. I still to this day have not received a call. I will never take my pet there again.

Very rude front desk. They were rude then we made an appointment, that they failed to record because they treated us like we did something wrong when we showed up. Never again.

I brought in a 6 week old stray kitten that I found who was a little out of it but getting stronger every day, she was eating, walking around loving on me and getting really healthy. I dropped her off and picked up a cold, half dead kitten, they said she was poisoned and to give her another syringe full of charcoal. This dropper was full and they already gave her another in the morning. She had 5 seizures since picking her up, she had one last seizure and passed away a few hours after picking her up. when reading if it was to much charcoal on the internet that is a side effect of an overdose, it said not to go over 1/2 a teaspoon for kittens... don't bring your pets here!!!

Took care of my guy like he was a regular when I was just in town on vacation. Found my forever vet for when I retire to Kerrville later this year!

I’ve never had problems with this vet, I’m fact it’s my favorite place in town to go! They always take care of my animals. Today on 4/18/2023 I called to make my appointment and the gentleman receptionist was probably the RUDEST I’ve ever talked to. Absolutely so rude, not helpful or informative, barley even made my vet appointment, he was ready to hangup without giving me any information. I still love this place and will continue to go here I just had to let people know be careful with the receptionist definitely could ruin anyone’s day that’s very concerned with getting their animal in.

I can not thank Ark Veterinarian Clinic enough. While we were going through a hard time losing our furbaby everyone was kind, understanding, and informative. We lost our beloved cat and they made cremating him an amazing experience.

I have to tell you about what happened to me when I took 2 young male cats to this vet to be neutered. When I went to pick them up, each one in their own carrier, I was handed one & the other was carried to my car by the tech. They were both SOAKING WET FROM HEAD TO TAIL AND SCREAMING VERY LOUDLY. I was in such shock that I can't remember what he said to me when I asked, "Why are they screaming and soaking wet?" I mean, they were so wet, it was as if they were dunked in a tank of water. All I could think of was getting them home and drying them off & holding them, loving them. I was so frantic I almost ran a red light; it took me the better part of half an hour to get home. They screamed the whole time. I got home, took them in the house and proceeded to dry them off, hold them, caress them & try my best to help them calm down. That was over a year ago. I went back to ask what happened. I was screamed at by the woman clerk that I didn't have to come here anymore. I told her, I hadn't been back since that time. I just wanted to know how my cats got soaking wet & why they were screaming. I will never forget that trip home. And the way this vet clinic staff person screamed at me and was very insulting. I will obviously never go to this vet, even if he were the only one in town. I would travel elsewhere. I am just sorry I took them because, even though it's been over a year, Freddy & Harry are still apprehensive when I come close to them. They were abused, I'm thinking, because of their fear of humans. I am making great progress, They let me pet them but are still not sure. I apologize to them every day for taking them to this vet. Do not take your 'babies' to this vet.
