Books To Share is a family owned store and a favorite in Kerrville. It is described as a must stop shop and a God send for book lovers. The store operates on a great system where customers can bring or trade their old books for new reads and receive a discount. The amount of books is staggering and the selection is wonderful, including many hard to find older novels. The store is very well organized and divided by genres. The owners are incredibly kind, friendly, and knowledgeable. They are extremely helpful if you'd like help finding a book, going above and beyond, but are also happy to let customers wander. Visitors are amazed by the selection and often spend hours inside, never leaving empty-handed. Both locals and those just passing through highly recommend this wonderful book store, with many planning to be regulars or stop in anytime they are nearby.

So refreshing to go treasure hunting and find a great books. The people at the store are so polite and friendly that im taken aback. Reminds me when you went into every store back in the day and everyone was friendly and customer-service oriented.

Love the atmosphere here! It can be a little overstimulating if crowds of books aren't your thing, but personally I love the arrangement of the books and find it chaotically cozy. Huge fan! They also have a cool trade in system on your old books! The service has always been friendly and helpful as well.
