Beware to travelers! Restrooms are "only available to paying customers"... verbatim. Yikes!! The restrooms were filthy, too.

Imagine you have a child who’s been in discomfort for the last thirty minutes and you see a gas station. Your child frantically goes in only to see they have to pay to pee. To boot, they have to purchase at least $5. Yeah, I’m not into that type of false friendliness, especially to kids.

Zero Texas hospitality ?...the restrooms are to be used by donation only ....Or paying customer only. That made me automatically not want to buy anything from them . The whole place is yucky vibes .

Quick stop for gas. Bathrooms were clean if a little old. I'll take clean any day! Lots of snacks and groceries for a quick pit stop off the I-10. Friendly staff.

Public restrooms not available unless you purchase something, even if it's your child. Oh and when you go to purchase something you must pay at least $5. I will be informing the BBB. Restrooms weren't even clean!!!!

I was stuck in the winter storm that rolled through Texas on Sunday night with my wife and kids, we found the Kerr Villa Kountry Store right before 11pm after a 20 hour drive, most of it in the snow as the snow storm was right in front of us heading east just like we were. If we had known, we would have stopped earlier and holed up in a hotel but we didn't. We had 66 miles of driving left to do to get to our hotel that should have been less than 10 hours away from our starting point on a normal day. Rick was there waiting with free cups of coffee and witty banter just to wake people up because he knew that if they were stuck on the road at that time in that snow that they were probably tired and needing something. I was so thankful for this place and Rick especially!!!

Stopped in to fuel up. The owner and staff were possibly the nicest people with a real southern charm at any gas station I’ve been on I-10. A true country store.

Busy place. No windshield squeegee fluid in container. Restrooms gnarly. Surely, as busy as this place was, they could afford clean restrooms & a functioning windshield cleaning squeegee.

My family and I went on a trip to Texas this past July. I was almost out of gas when I came across the Kerr Villa Kountry Store which is owned by Mrs. Virginia Higgins. I didn't realize the store was already closed but Virginia was still there and she let us go ahead and get gas, use the restrooms, and buy snacks and drinks. She also told us about the huge cross that is in Kerrville, Texas and we went and saw the cross and that was so amazing too! There are also other biblical sculptures and statues where the cross is located. We highly recommend Mrs. Higgins and her Kerr Villa Kountry Store and going to see the humongous cross in Kerrville. Virginia had been in a car accident and was hit by another car and she was wearing a neck brace and a brace on her hand. I knew that there was no way that she was feeling well but Virginia still helped us anyway. Mrs. Higgins is definitely our angel in Texas! Thank you so much, Virginia! We hope you have fully recovered from your injuries. We have been praying for you. God bless you!
