The website says they are open till 1030 but the little girl corrected me at 1000 and said they have always closed at that time on Sunday. She was pretty rude as well

I am a fan of Mini Marts in general for what they bring to the Hill Country by way of convenience services, but Mini Mart number 11 holds a special place in my heart. The store has been around since very few people lived out this way compared to now. My grandparents lived at Upper Turtle Creek, And when I would stay with them for weeks at a time growing up, a good time was hopping in one of the antique Volkswagens and running to the Mini Mart to stock up on things children shouldn't eat. Think Chick-O-Sticks and Bit-O-Honeys. I do it again (and sometimes do). While the clerks rotate in and out, generally , this Mini Mart has always had a friendly face to welcome a diverse variety of customers. It ain't fancy, but it's real. I volunteer for the Kerrville Folk Festival, and I especially appreciate that the store adjust its hours during festival time to accommodate the scene. I'm not sure if you're really local if you haven't kicked it at Mini Mart with possibly the most unlikely of friends who you may or may not agree with politically, but chances are, you're still damn good neighbors to eachother. I would add that I was especially impressed with the #11 staff and the way they responded to a recent automobile accident in front of the store. These guys are doing so much more than running a convenience store. Also, Mini Mart #11 has a sweet view! 5 stars well deserved.

Not sure what all the pizza hostility is about. Ordering is fine, toppings are unlimited, the staff are friendly and the clientele are entertaining. This institution is a hidden gem. Never a dull trip to this Mini Mart!

I had my first Big Red fountain soda from here! The gals working the register were nice and did a wonderful job getting me out the door. I found the cleanliness of the overall building to be a little less than desirable especially the bathrooms.

Called to order a pizza on a Saturday afternoon. Was told there was only one person working the store. Said the wait time would be probably an hour or more. Please tell Gary we miss him!
