I’ve been attending Christian Life Church in Killeen since April of this year and I’ve mostly had good experiences every Sunday. However, this Sunday after hearing Mike Mansel speak about his disdain for the Army policies “don’t ask, don’t tell” and the new transgender policy (which is mandatory for all service members and leaders to also support) it made me a bit uneasy. He used the term “wacky” to describe the new policy and smirked while doing so. I would still like to attend the church service, however I would ask that he uses a better selection of words if given the opportunity to minister.

Today, 18th of September 2022. Service was okay. I would caution the speaker (Mike Mansel) to not speak on political matters. Especially at the pulpit. He prefaced one of his many monologues with, “I’m not trying to get political, but…” then proceeded to get political about the Army’s new transgenderism policy being “whacky” and how he didn’t agree with Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell either. I don’t know that it’s appropriate to have him speak at a pulpit without a little coaching. He probably shouldn’t be in the military either if he openly doesn’t support the policy.

This absolutely an amazing Church. My Heart is at peace, which as not been for along time. If you do have Home Church, and even if you do have a Home Church. This is the place to land. I can not say enough about this Church.

Worst church I ever went to!. I came in to find fellowship and I was met with judgment and hatred. The pastor is the worst of all. Talk about being a hypocrite. He will fill you with a word from God only to find out later he is taking behind your back and wants nothing to do with you. The choir is the worst. You can tell when they are singing there is no spirit of the Lord moving that church. It's because the Pastor is prejudice and doesn't want to help the sinners. I confessed my sin I was struggling with and once I did he totally changed his demeanor and how he interacted with me. Last time I checked my Father said I would always find refuge in his house. Well I guess this is not my Father's house because I was asked to leave. I would stay away from this church unless you want to filled with watered down Gospel every Sunday.

Here I found love, honesty, friendship and a family. They are all so amazing, you can see how God moves in the CLC family. I love knowing that I belong to a multigenerational and multicultural church.

We were searching for a church and I called to talk to someone about this one. I cant remember her name but at the time the pastor was out of town. We talked in great length and she was nice. She asked if I would like the pastor to contact me when he got back but never heard back.

We visited Christian Life for the first time this past weekend. They did an incredible job at caring for us as first time guests. Not only that, but this is also a strange time being that it's the end of stay-at-home orders. The team at the church went out of their way to ensure safe and healthy practices were in place! Great music, timely message, and genuine people!

CLC is an absolutely amazing church that became like family for my husband, daughter, and I! We attended this church for just over 3 years before leaving the area recently due to my husband coming down on military orders. Otherwise we would still be going to this church without a doubt. Everyone is very nice and welcoming. They have a great childcare and Sunday school program for the little ones. Pastor Ryan and the other assistant pastors all do a phenomenal job at providing weekly messages that are directly from the bible and are presented in ways that are applicable and relatable to today's society. Also, CLC provides an extensive list of ways that you can get involved within the church to in turn help the local community. Finally, this church is one of the most culturally diverse churches that I have ever been to or seen, which makes this church all that more awesome. :)

My family and I felt welcome on day one. Great staff, worship, and teaching. Our kids love it. This church has been such a blessing to us in the short time we've been here! There is Cross Fit during the week, prayer meeting on Friday, small groups, homeless ministry. It's an extremely active church!
