I am always happy to shop here. The Manager is always sweet, the employees are always pleasant and act glad to see me (Raymond), and the store is amazingly clean and well stocked. I have never seen a U-boat inside (which means they’re quick on truck days). There is not a more thankless job than retail (which I did for many years). I am always impressed at the organization in this store. Many thanks for giving us somewhere nice to shop.

On top of the reviews already showing the type of environment that this store is, I will go ahead an add one more for you. Vera, is the name of the store manager. This store is absolutely unprofessional. The GM, Vera, stated that I would receive an email for hire over the duration of 7 visits to the store within 2 weeks. I had to call the district just to receive my hire packet and was told I would be notified about a starting date over 2 weeks ago. I still to this day have not received a start date. I started to feel as if I was being lied too about a position as I saw new hires start to appear in the store. I have worked at plenty of professional establishments, and this is the most lackluster "boss" I have ever seen. The tone of voice she used when speaking to me was that of one who sounded annoyed. District will be called about this situation because it's gotten disrespectful to the point of toying with someone's income.

As an almost every day customer for more than 5 years, the newest manger her has completely ran this store into the ground! She’s unprofessional and rude! For her always being busy or as busy as she seems, the store ALWAYS looks horrible and is NEVER stocked! They’re CONSTANTLY going through employee. Literally new people every week ! Today marks the 2 time in a week I had to say something about her either not being at the register with LONG LINES (mind you she added a “ ring for assistance button at the register) or being up there WITH THE LANE LIGHT ON and not helping anyone while the 1 other employee she has deals with the long line (she ignored me the first time I asked her if she was open then when I asked a second time she said NO ! With an attitude) ! ALL THE WHILE ON HER PHONE . People have stuff to do in the mornings, we get it you do too but there’s no reason why getting 2/3 items should take more than 5/10 months tops even with 2/3 employees, with 3 registers !!!! ESPECIALLY IF YOU'RE THE MANAGER AND HAVE BEEN WALKING AROUND TELLING EVERYONE THAT YOU HAVE BEEN DOING THIS MANAGER STUFF FOR 10+ YEARS !!! Talking a big game about how much better you have made the store when in reality YOU HAVE DONE NOTHING BUT INCONVENIENCEE THE WHOLE NEIGHBORHOOD!!! As someone who’s worked customer service for years as well, you would always be hiring and changing employee like you change your underwear ??♀️ NOT SORRY

There should NEVER be a point where there's only ONE employee working an entire retail store. Whoever does the hiring and scheduling is complete TRASH. No wonder the turn over rate is high. YOU'RE BURNING OUT YOUR WORKERS!!!!!

I didn’t know this place was here until very recently. They have lots of household and food items. A good selection of frozen grocery items as well.Great store and the employees are very nice.

General dollar is a generic store for generic stuff. Staff is there to just do there job. And of course if there on brake or busy doing some thing you don't know if they got permission to do so saw one comment about management being rude on the phone not helping she is talking to her boss doing things her boss tell her to do. Not rude at all. She was very helpful at the store also love her hair style.

Omg Let's start off saying It is some very RUDE PEOPLE WORKING IN THERE THE STORE MANAGER IS SO RUDE .NEVER WANT 2 HELP U .ALL WAYS IN HER PHONE .IT CLEAR SHE IS INLY THERE 4 A PAY CHECK. SEE THIS IS WHY BUSINESS GO DOWN AND THE COMPANY WORRY ABOUT SALES .ITS PEOPLE LIKE HER .I WILL NEVER .NEVER GO BACK IN THERE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS HORRIBLE. SHE WILL GO.OFF ON YOU IN A HART BEAT.
