Alondez aka Jordan is THE MOST helpful person at this location. He has always answered any of my questions with knowledgeable responses and information. He really knows his stuff on top of that he gave me his personal phone number just incase I needed any further assistance if he is not at work "yes i have called him When he was not on the clock and he was so humble and helpful in answering my questions"even when he has a day off" Whatever they are paying him, they need to double it.

You'd be better off going to the Waco location. Half the staff have a serious lack of expertise and are extremely arrogant. They are immediately dismissive to questions about trade-ins and employment, and although they have elitist attitudes, they still have the same gear that they did years ago. It's just not a good GC.

I had a wonderful experience shopping for my hand drum. I wasnt sure what I exactly needed for my knowledge level. So I spoke with a sales rep Joseph who was able to help me find the right one. I also was able to get plenty of information on how to care for my drum and any future repairs that I may require. Joe was detailed and very knowledgeable. First time in a long time I had customer service that had me smiling when I left. I would recommend this Guitar Center over any one close by. They are customer focused and know whats important Us the customer!! 10\10 recommend!!!!

Not customer friendly, they are all so into their conversations they don't check to see if you are inexperienced and need help. They seem to assume everyone that comes in is a music major and knows all there is to know about music. They could improve a lot on sales if they actually tried to sell something ? ?.

10/23/2023 this location is pretty trash. The guy working this afternoon pretty much profiled me. I don’t dress flashy. I dress comfortable and I guess the guy is either racist or thought I wasn’t gonna buy anything. The plan was to buy a couple acoustic guitars for my brother and myself, as well as an electric drum kit. Would have been well over a thousand dollar sale. I asked him for help with the drum kit as I had some questions and he stated “I can’t leave the front”. Which is understandable being that he was the only one out front. I expected that he would call someone from the back to either assist me or to watch the front, which is usually what happens. However, I didn’t hear him call for anyone on the intercom. Few minutes pass by, white guy walks in with his kid. They start playing the electric drum kit that’s on display at the front of the store. Employee guy is all over him trying to get a sale, guy comes to the percussion department looks around and then goes out front to ask for assistance and what do you know? Employee guy is on the intercom calling someone from the back to watch the front so he could assist the white guy who looks like he has some money. And the guy buys a pair of drumsticks. Looks like sweetwater or zzounds will be where I shop until I find another music store that’s local or not too far of a drive. I don’t think I’ve ever had a good experience at the killeen guitar center.

Called the store prior for a usb I lok to see if it was in stock the representative told me it was ,an hour later I drove to the store just for a rep to tell me its actually not in stock, and the 2 nearest store are Round Rock & Waco. It is a inconvenience & I was basically lied to. Horrible Communication skills on their end dont waste your time going to this location.

I go in to get a few low priced items. Phone rings and the cashier ignores it the first time. Second time he answers it and proceeds to have a five minute conversation completely ignoring me. I'll be online shopping from now on for my musical needs. Probably from sweetwater.

I know give any star especially to companies like this but if u read reviews then take your money to Sweetwater because this place had idiots. Never well I walk in on any of your stores Facility u lost a customer big time. Reviews might not hurt but a couple 100 months sure does.

This Place Is So Cool it's Honestly The Best Guitar Center I've Ever Laid My Eyes On The Staff Is Top Notch And Very Knowledgeable! They Have So Many More Items Than Waco Or Even Round Rock. I Even Heard They Won Store Of The Month Recently. Overall Best Store In The States Hands Down

Normally I love this place and everyone is super helpful. Unfortunately when I went in there today that was far from the case. Me and another customer were in back room checking out equipment and no one was back there. Waited for 15 min and finally went to ask for help from someone who was just standing behind the counter with another employee who was helping a customer and was told she would be there in a minute in a rude tone. So me and the other customer just walked out. Great way to lose sales from a loyal customer base. Oh and another employee was just walking around stocking stuff. Sad that no one seemed to care. Hopefully this does not become a habit.

Tried to sell a bass guitar and they tried to charge 60 dollars to use a screwdriver to lower the bridge and change strings. Better to sell ANYWHERE than this place. You can tell by looking at the staff they aren’t much for wanting to do any labor either.

Was straight up lied to while buying a guitar, was told that as a bonus they would throw in a free premium setup, even was told that I’d be saving around 80 dollars with it, and to come in Wednesday to get it set up. Then when I arrived the manager that told me I could have the free setup told me I was misremembering and that they would give an adjustment if it wasn’t up to factory. I would have paid for the premium set up if I wasn’t being called a liar. Beware, they’ll say anything to get the sale.
