Shelly is the finance manager, I can honestly say this woman has gone to the end of the earth to help me with any paperwork and questions I've had. She is an outstanding manager who will go above and beyond to make sure you're taken care of. Fantastic bank and management.

Not customer friendly. If you have an authorized auto pay with your card and direct deposit prepare for disappointment. You won't get paid if your deposit lands on a holiday or weekend. If it does and you have an autopay, prepare for overdraft charges even if you haven't gotten paid. They won't refund the fees either. Also if you elect to not have courtesy pay, the payment won't go through BUT you will still be charged overdraft fees. If you get irritated or a smidge loud in the lobby, the loan manager will promptly shut her door. I'm done with dealing with this terrible excuse for a credit union. Sorry I live paycheck to paycheck but I shouldn't be treated like I haven't banked there for over 3 years.

I have been banking with HOTFCU for over 10 years. I started with the Killeen branch where Dave Demel was the manager. He was very helpful and attentive to all his customers and even his staff. Gave off more of a family vibe than business. He helped with tips of how to improve credit and qualify for bigger loans, but in the past year or or so, another branch manger has taken his place. Several times, I have seen customers have to wait while she cleans out her purse, puts on make up and eat food. I don't even know her name cause she has not cared to meet current customers and truly dive into the lives of the people around her. Good thing the tellers are very nice and helpful to make up for her laissez-faire demeanor and the self centered attitude she puts off.
