Went to the makeup department and it was amazing customer service. She was so informative and patient with my 14 year old who had no idea what she wanted. She gave her multiple options and talked with her to pick out the best option. Would recommend over any of the other cosmetic places.

I used JC Penney salon to get my locs re-twisted because they have the closest salon to me and my hair started to fall out and now their refusing me service. Also I tried to get friendly with one of the girls who works there and they started treating me like a predator. I was approached by a manager who sweared at me in the salon which is supposed to be a professional setting where everyone should feel welcome but unfortunately I wasn't.

Booked a Salon appointment, selected the appropriate selections from the dropdown menu, selected times that worked best for me.Received a call 15 mins later the stylist was no longer practicing hair, so I was changed to another stylist, Me: "Sure,no problem".Asked if the appointment was still at the same time was informed it was changed to an earlier time, let them know that, that would not work as I scheduled that particular time because of my work schedule.1) WHY would you have a scheduling system showing people that no longer do hair.2) WHY would you change the customer's appointment without consulting with the customer.I let the "Master Stylist" know I would just cancel the appointment, phone was SLAMMED in my ear.I will take my business elsewhere.

Your loss prevention needs to chill.I'm still a woman at the end of the day so having a random grown man stand on top of me is frightening. It's not my fault you guys keep your Wet brushes all the way in the salon towards the door. You either need to hire a woman or someone who doesn't make his racial profiling so obvious. I wouldn't have bought anything had I not had a gift card. I'm glad JCPENNY is going out of business now. :)
