I’ve gone to this salon for atleast two years straight, it feels like a second home to me. I usually go to one stylist but I know that if I had to get my hair done by someone else, all of the ladies would do the same amazing job as my usual lady. I recommend this place to anyone who asks & I will continue to do so till I die. Bless up 💖

amazing service and work! I get my hair done my Briana Griffith pretty often and they look great every time. Exactly what i ask for with even parts, she’s also very kind and detailed to make sure you get what you’re looking for. I highly suggest you come here to get your hair done.

Definitely one of a kind salon… the energy, vibe, atmosphere, and most importantly the services are way above the standard for a hair salon. I came in on pretty slow day, was greeted, and helped by Briana. I just wanted a trim since my curls had grown a length I wasn’t entirely comfortable or confident with. Previously, I had gone to TWO other hair stylist (unrelated to M Salon) and I always voiced how tricky my hair is due to both being curly and shrinkage - both had led me to disappointment. However, Briana was sure on asking me how I wanted it, always asked if everything was going according to plan, and at the end of the service. My confidence was restored, the length was perfect, and I ain gon cap - i was cheesin like a mug. With that said, I wish I could give more than 5 stars to M Salon and their stylists - talented, beautiful women, that get down and WILL get you right.

All my hair fell out….
On July 16th of 2025 I received a virgin relaxer along with a shampoo style pixie cut. I informed the person I booked my appointment with along with the stylist the day of my appointment that I dyed my hair on June 13th 2025. I was not aware nor was I informed that my hair could possibly fall out from having it recently dyed on top of getting a virgin relaxer. On July 22nd of 2025 my hair began to fall out, I immediately informed the salon and the stylist got in touch with me right away. To resolve the issue a shampoo style with a protein treatment add on was recommended, meaning I would have to book and pay to resolve the issue that wasn’t my fault. Although the stylist customer service was excellent I chose not to book the appointment. Little to no accountability was taken, in the beginning the cause of my hair falling out was being blamed on postpartum and my current pregnancy, and I would still have to pay overtime to resolve the issue that was not my fault. As of August 15th 2025(today) my hair is still falling out.

terrible take’s brake’s to just talk and stop’s doing your hair to talk DID my hair terribly I asked for a leave out and it was terrible I took it out today and HAD TO CUT SOME of my HAIR off I was IRRITATED! I’m never going back to this place and I don’t care what y’all gotta say if YOU think about stepping foot in here TURN around because my hair is coming out and DAMAGED!! do better.

Listen up, if you're considering stepping foot in this salon, turn around and run the other way! I made the mistake of trusting this place, and it was an absolute nightmare from the get-go. As you can see from the reviews me as well I thought it would be a good place to get my hair done, but I was wrong. First off, the shampoo they used on my hair was nothing less than a cheap body wash, which left my scalp raw and damaged. When I raised concerns, the stylist had the audacity to blame me for using gel—when I hadn’t even touched the stuff for a month! Their so-called “professional” treatments turned into a disaster. I wanted my hair styled in a medium-high ponytail, and they promised they could do it, but then they hit me with added charges for styling wavy hair. What a scam! On top of that, I discovered they were using scorching heat settings of 460°F on my hair, which is an absolute recipe for disaster! I Was told that it wouldn’t cause any damage from the flat Iron and Hot comb but it was all a lie.They pushed me to sign a contract after poor service an additional tip that I of course, skipped, and when it came time to pay, they tried to charge me $173 instead of the quoted $160. They lied and rudely manipulated the numbers right in front of me! And let me tell you, their products are cheap knock-offs—way worse than anything you could pick up at a drugstore. This place doesn’t care about your natural hair; they’ll just braid it up and toss in some subpar extensions. If you value your hair, heed this warning: DO NOT step foot in this salon! You’ll walk away with damaged hair, ripped off, and regretting every moment spent there. Save yourself the trouble!

The person that did my boyfriend’s hair retwist his front taper into his dreads. The parts are uneven, he doesn’t like the way his hair looks, and he is hating the way his hair looks because of them retwisting it into his dreads. I would not recommend them to anyone to get dreads retwisted we will be finding a new place to go to.
