I reviewed my stay at this hotel on Trip Adviser and Baymont pages and that was where it would have ended. The managers response was not surprising but I think it supported my observations. You should read the bad reviews and the response from management. Then also read the reviews on Yelp, Google, Expedia, Yahoo and the other booking web sites. You will find a common connection in all the reviews. Towel problems. There will always be people who are bothered about silly things... though most learn to keep it to themselves. The guest is responsible for bringing any issues, like missing towels, to the Front Desk ASAP. Of course, if you don't report it as soon as you get into the room it very much looks like you stole it. Feigning offense is very close to "Though doest protest too much". And again it's just a simple thing to report to the Front Desk that you would like a different apple. You had the choice of doing that or just complaining about it to the internet later. There are usually 10 different options for food and 5 different drinks...it's all completely optional though. poor managing and lack real customer service. They told me I should have reported the towel shortage at check in, but when asked how would I know there was a towel shortage as there is nothing posted of the number of towel a room has, they could not respond. I can tell you there were only 2 towels for 3 people. No floor towel so only enough for one. There is a sign stating no extra towels till house keeping gets there at 10am. Also keep in mind that 2 of my party would have to shower after 10am finish packing and out before 11am check out! The manager told me at 8am he had no extra towels and it was against policy to get extras from an empty rm. But then the assistant showed up with an extra towel! As you look around you will see signs everywhere about charging extra if you did anything to violate their policies. For me that leads me question my trust for them. Breakfast was not stock and lacked being sanitary. No knives for spreading butter, jellies and cream cheese. There was butter in the original store container almost empty and the fork being used by all to spread butter was put back in the container with the lid on it. Several apples wrinkled from age, bruised or with cuts in them. Milk was empty, waffle batter was empty! At check out I had to insist that they gave me a receipt with all the charges with it showing the return deposit. And only after checking room first. Lastly I made the statement that it was the first time I ever stayed in a hotel that had bullit proof glass at the front counter. I did not expect an apology for it but did feel it was something of concern for anyone staying there in their decission to stay there. I am posting manager's response to my Trip Advisor review. DO NOT STAY HERE. I wasn't even here for an hour and this is what I seen on the bed pillow. We stayed in room 209. The person up front said "it would suck" if we got bed bugs. Fuck this place

This place is Ridiculous, I booked through Travelocity and I chose to come here because it is pet friendly I paid $71 for 1 night and once I arrived they had a sign posted that each pet would be $35 each I have two pup with me so that $71 quickly turned into $141. They also threaten to charge you $200 if you don't mention the pets. I could have stayed at a far better establishment for the same price. The rooms smell its right next to a highway and the building is decrepit. I would have gone somewhere else of the front desk would have allowed me to get my money back, however they did not. This place deserve zero stars. Not to mention the black mold in the shower. You can smell it the second you walk in. We will not be staying through the night.

i've stayed at many hotels in my life but this one was easily the worst one ever. it started with them not trying to accommodate my mother who just had major surgery. she had to walk up and down the stairs because not only were there no rooms on the first floor available but there's also no elevator. they didn't even give her an option to move after another room on the bottom floor was ready. then the room was so odd, with a terrible bed frame, small microwave and a huge refrigerator. when we asked for towels we were told that we had to give back the dirty ones first which i've never heard of. then they wanted to charge us more because they thought we had 4 people when we put 2 on the reservation, which didn't make sense to us seeing that we really only had 3 but it still was odd because they don't charge per person. when we wanted to get a refund they were super unhelpful saying we should go through the 3rd party but we finally we we're finally able to leave. that hotel was terrible unfriendly and i highly recommend any other hotel in kingwood

If I could give 0 stars I would the place was great, very clean, cozy, and very nice but the manager here is a thief we have our 50$ incidental fee and he said it was refunded but my bank (a global bank) has sent me proof and paperwork that it was canceled during pending. After calling and talking to the manager three times he kept cursing me out and saying it's your problem not mine and that is was refunded after there is proof that it was not he ended the call by cursing me out. Disgusting service by this man absolutely disgusting how he spoke to me smh. Will make sure to never stay here again and that anyone I know stays away from this place.
