Rented a car while our jeep was in the shop, thought we needed a week so we paid for a week, brought the car back 2 days early and they still charged for a week, wouldn't give us any kind of refund, I'll go elsewhere next time.

Worst location ever, two ladies who work up there have no clue what they are doing and are rude. Lied to me multiple times finally was able to get the car, gave me a wrecked car and didn’t even clean it was also full of spiders.

I’m so glad I decided to give Hertz another chance.
After a less-than-perfect experience earlier this summer, I returned to rent a car from September 5th to the 8th—and I’m happy to say the experience this time was truly night and day. From the moment I walked in, the customer service was exceptional. The staff was warm, attentive, and made the entire process smooth and stress-free.
The rental itself was in excellent condition, and my trip was absolutely amazing. Everything went as planned, and it really made a difference having reliable transportation and friendly support from the Hertz team.
I’m grateful I didn’t let one previous experience overshadow the potential for a better one. This time, Hertz delivered—and I’ll definitely be renting from them again in the future.

I've been trying to call since Friday and no answer. I don't want to show up for my reservation and they not have a gas car again. This is the issue with hurtz Uber they only have EVS we can't live off of an EV car.. I'm still calling in. I have a reservation for this Friday and I just want to know if they have any gas cars. I don't want to keep wasting my time traveling all through Houston Texas for Hertz gas car rentals and being told that I can't get one after I reserved one. Just let us know. Answer the phones please

I recently rented a vehicle from Hertz for my first solo trip to Austin, TX to attend a concert. I was genuinely excited and opted for the Manager’s Special due to the price point. To my surprise, I was given an electric vehicle (EV)—a first for me—and I was open to the new experience.
Upon arrival, I was promptly greeted by an employee who quickly and efficiently processed my rental. Within 10 minutes, I was behind the wheel. While the learning curve with the EV took a moment, I quickly got the hang of it. On Day 1, the drive was smooth, the power was impressive, and the sound system was excellent.
However, the experience took a turn on Sunday, July 27th—the day of my event. I attempted to charge the vehicle to full using the app provided, but the charging process took about 40 minutes longer than expected. Still, I remained optimistic and hit the road. Shortly after merging onto the highway, I suddenly lost all audio—no sound from the blinkers, Bluetooth, or radio. The vehicle was still operational, but the silence was jarring and disappointing.
I attempted to troubleshoot the issue myself, restarted the vehicle, and even Googled solutions without success. I then contacted customer service, but was placed on an extended hold. I had to use my Bluetooth headset just to have audio for directions. Once I reached a stop, I was able to speak to a customer service agent who was kind and gave me a few tips, but unfortunately, nothing worked. She offered to direct me to the nearest Hertz to swap the vehicle, but doing so would have made me miss most of my concert. I decided to deal with the issue upon return and was given a case number.
When I returned the car the next day, I explained the situation to the staff on-site. Unfortunately, the interaction felt dismissive. The same employee who initially assisted me simply said, “Oh no, I’m so sorry that that happened,” grabbed her belongings, and left. Her coworker quickly handed me a receipt and asked how soon I’d be leaving. I returned the car at 5:00 PM—well before closing—but felt rushed and unheard.
While I understand that not every issue has an immediate fix, I do believe customer service training in how to handle technical complaints professionally and empathetically would go a long way. A simple acknowledgment and sincere effort to listen would’ve made a big difference.
This wasn’t the level of service I expected from Hertz. I’ll be reaching out to corporate to share my feedback, and I do hope this location receives the support it needs to improve.

We were stuck and Hertz came to the rescue! Many thanks to Anthony and his staff at Hertz in Humble, Texas. Our flight to Austin had been delayed, delayed, delayed and then cancelled two days in a row. We were tired and frustrated. We went to Hertz without a reservation and explained our problem. Anthony went above and beyond to find us a car for a one-way rental to Austin to get us home. We are forever grateful!

I had to put my personal vehicle in the repair shop for a new transmission , And a few other things that needed to be done. I recently lost my uncle to cancer . The woman at the desk Latoya, went above and beyond to help me get into a rental vehicle on short notice. I can't thank her enough for her kind words and great personality while also remaining very professional . Thanks again Latoya for all your help. I pray that God Keeps his hand on you in your life and also sees all your hard work to promote you to your goals in your career. Thanks again Latoya for being kind courteous and helpful.

Amazed by their incompetence. I’ve rented cars so many times in my life, but never had to wait for 1h for it. My car was scheduled to pick up at 10am. Me and my pregnant wife arrived at 9:45am to this facility. At 10:40 they were vacuuming it! Result? My pregnant wife is late for her medical appointment. Incompetence is not enough to describe the TERRIBLE SERVICE in here.

Just horrible I rented a 2500 dodge ram from hertz with an oil change light that say oil needs to be changed they said not to worry about it but then the next day I leave my house not even 1 minute from my house and the driveshaft just snaps in half!! I call to let them know that something mechanically was wrong with it to begin with and they blamed me saying I was responsible for it breaking how does that even happen!! They are wanting to charge me for damage!! The. Consist on sending me emails constantly harassing me for something I didn’t do or have control of!! I will definitely make sure this issue gets taken care of legally!! The right way
