I was very pleased with the services(brake service and oil change)provided. The service writer explained everything that needed to be done, and other issues that could be addressed at a later date. Scheduling, cost, and timing were all superb. Highly recommended!

From the welcoming reception by Kristie to the excellent service provided by the knowledgeable and friendly team, especially the store manager Oscar, every visit has been consistently great. We brought our 2014 van here for alignment. During check out we inquired what they found because no one consulted with us. The front counter had no ideas and had to speak to the tech. So lack of communication and they were just checking us out and didn't even notice they didn't fix anything. We asked what was broken and they didn't know so back to the tech to fix out they could straighten it more with a upper control arm. Which side? We had to ask the tech due to lack of communication and no tech notes. ?

I had an appointment scheduled for today at 1 pm. When I arrive they tell me that I have to wait, because they have no control over the appointment system, apparently they scheduled several people for the same time and they still do not attend 10 in the morning appointments. They also tell me that they only have two people working. They tell me to come back at 3 in the afternoon. When I returned at 2:45 pm, they told me that another customer was coming earlier and that they meant that my car would be serviced at 3 pm. I tell them they should take responsibility for their appointments because they are wasting my time. They tell me that they can't do anything here. They were nice but appointments are supposed to be taken to be seen on time.

I had an Engine Light pop on, went as a walk in and they fit me in their schedule, assessed the issues and quickly provide me with an estimate before any work was done for approval. They did a good job using high quality parts as far as I could tell. They further assessed the entire vehicle for any other possible problems and provided a detailed report. The front desk was very helpful and easy to talk and provided updates as I waited. They also help me with some coupons and senior discounts to help drop the price best they could. I would recommend Pep Boys on 2408 Northpark Dr, Kingwood, TX 77339 to anyone for regular maintenance, tires and oil changes and more difficult repairs.

I always receive exceptional service from this shop. I buy all my tires, wipers, etc, have my oil changed here for the past 7 years. Very trustworthy, I highly recommend.

Pep Boys was my go-to but not any longer. I had a couple of nails in my tire and a slow leak. I called to make an appointment to get my tire patched up and asked if they could change my oil since I was going to be there anyway. The MAIN reason why I was going to Pep Boys was for the rear passenger tire repair. I arrive at my appointment, tell them again I need tire repair and an oil change. I observe the technician as he inspects the front driver side tire and ask the receptionist to remind him that it is the rear passenger tire that needs the repair. She steps out and reminds him. The technician then comes in and starts selling me on all new tires and gets me a quote. The receptionist informs me that service is nearly complete and I specifically ask "the tire, too?" and she answered "yes." As they are wrapping up with the services, the receptionist lets me know I need new windshield wipers. I asked if they can include it in that day's service and they gladly oblige. I leave Pep Boys and make my way home. The entire way the PSI on my rear passenger tire is dropping. I looked at the tire and the nails are still in the tire. I call to let them know they forgot to complete the service I went there for. I was informed that they couldn't do the repair and that the tire was too damaged. They never let me know. They sent me back on the road with a tire they knew was damaged and never told me. They couldn't even take the time to inform me or replace the "too damaged" tire with my spare. They knowingly sent me back on the road in a hazardous condition and couldn't be bothered to tell me. They certainly had time to upsell me and offer additional services but couldn't address the main reason for my visit or let me know that it was unsafe for me to take that tire back out on the road. The manager, Oscar, was incredibly rude to me on the phone and had excuse after excuse for not telling me about the tire. They completely took advantage of me, wasted my time, and did not care that they sent me back on the road uninformed and in unsafe conditions. Be wary of using this particular shop, ESPECIALLY if you are a woman.

I went for an A/C repair and my experience has been nothing but tragic since. I was told that all problems were resolved and my A/C should work fine, but unfortunately, only a few days later the problem arose again. On my second visit, I was told that I needed additional repairs which I had done, and was assured that I should not have any more problems. But on Saturday, August 5, 2023, I returned my car to Pep Boys with the same issues and was told that I needed additional repairs. As a frustrated female customer, I called my father and he spoke with a service provider in which he told my father that I needed a fan replacement and I could purchase the fan from an outsource and PepBoys could replace it for me. I was told until I could get a repair to “knock on the fan” if the fan was not circulating which I found to be very unsettling. Later that day, I received a call from Pep Boys about the fan replacement but in addition to the fan, I would need a radiator. A radiator was never discussed with me or my father while I was in the establishment. I’ve tried to contact customer service and no one has gotten back with me.

Drove 100 miles after calling asking if they had a receiver hitch for my SUV after being put on hold so he could look my make & model up for the right hitch.I was told they had it scheduled an appointment for Friday got there waited 40 minutes to be told I had to bring a hitch to be installed. I may be a woman but why would you need to open the hood to install a trailer hitch? Anyway got out on the highway and my hood started to lift off. Failed Pepboys FAILED! Glad I noticed you left my hood unlocked geez!
