VERY poor customer service. We saw no times of closing listed online, so we went and got there at 2:30, and when we walked in, we very politely said my husband needed a haircut, and the lady working looked at us snootily and said very rudely, “I don’t have time today.” I understand not having time, but there was no call for the attitude, especially when they don’t have their closing time on Google or even that appointments are required (still not sure they are? It was very clear we were unwelcome, so we left quickly). If you enjoy friendliness, don’t go here.

This is, beyond a doubt, the best hair salon I have ever been to. If I could give them 10 stars, I would. Everyone there is a talented professional who truly cares about making their client look amazing. Will never go anywhere else

The first and last time I had ever gone here. The atmosphere is so cluttered, and so religious. I came in there for a haircut not a religious praising. My haircut was NOT what I wanted. Stephanie Bird had cut my hair. She was way too rough, and made me pay for a hair cut I didn't even like! Terrible Terrible Terrible! Would not recommend.

When visiting A Cut Above you need to be careful on how you act around the stylists. My stylists, Stephany I believe, I said one thing, and she was talking to me the whole time. She was so arrogant about her life and blessings. The other stylists I didn't have a problem with. The bathrooms were so disgusting. Smelled terrible. It was covered in decor and was really hot. 2/5!!

I drive from Dallas out here to have Candice to do my hair, and have done so for years. I love everyone who works here and their work is incredible. It's such a comfortable, fun atmosphere and the prices are amazing. Best hair salon I've ever been to by far!

I am shocked that the review above was left because I have received nothing but the BEST treatment anytime I have ever visited. All of the girls who work at this salon are always so friendly and do amazing work and the prices are great!! I love this shop so much and I will always bring my business here!

I have been to this place three times and was disappointed. Before I go on, I will say the prices cannot be beat. That is a huge reason why I kept going back but I can't anymore. I went three times over 10 months with the same stylist, who did not remember me even once. That is not an unnecessarily long period of time between haircuts and I was quite surprised that there were no records that showed I was a repeat customer and they couldn't even pretend I was recognized even after repeatedly saying that I've been there before. I began going to another salon but it was too expensive, so I thought I'd give this place yet another try. I called and was told that the person who had an opening wasn't around and they didn't know her schedule but if I left my name and number they'd call me back. There's no schedule? There's no way to make an appointment unless the stylist is immediately there? Ok, fine. I wait 4+ days for a call before I start getting calls from an unknown number that never left a message. They didn't call from the salon number I knew and was familiar with and couldn't even be bothered to leave a message? A basic level of professionalism shouldn't be that difficult to meet. I may be willing to put up with it if I came out of it with a superb, top-knotch haircut, but it was mediocre each time. I will not be bothering them with my business anymore.
