This is my first ever review on a company -- but the reason for it is due to the EXCELLENT customer service by the manager of CubeSmart in Kyle (off of I-35), Christina.
She has gone above and beyond in helping with my move in to the storage unit and even throughout. I HIGHLY recommend this CubeSmart location because customer service provided by Christina is not something you see often.
I hope CubeSmart promotes her to a corporate role as she is truly an asset to the company.

Setting things up online was easy quick ,fast and painless, but the customer service was not kind at all. As we are new to renting storage unit and had questions about getting into our unit the staff was not helpful at all.

What kind of Mickey mouse operation is being run over here? I paid for a climate controlled storage unit, in the contract it says the property is only accessible by people with a code, and I should have access between 6:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m. . Well, every time I visited my storage unit the temperature has been in excess of 85°F inside. CLEARLY NOT CLIMATE CONTROLLED. Last night I went to grab some items from my unit to prepare for a move this morning. The gates were not secured and were wide open for anyone to enter and exit. CLEARLY ACCESSIBLE BY ANYONE. So the move comes up today. I show up at the storage unit at 8:00 a.m. the front gate is under construction with no entry in the back gate is mysteriously closed this time but with no power. That means no one can enter. Another man pulled up as I was talking fruitlessly to CubeSmart corporate, and remarked that this happens at least two or three times a month. CLEARLY ONE DOES NOT HAVE ACCESS DURING THE 6:00 A.M. TO 10:00 A.M. HOURS ADVERTISED.
Please do not give this location your money. These people are running an absolute circus.

I had a great experience with this location. This facility was a good location for me. It was clean, affordable, and easy to access, and staff was always professional. I had two storage units in the climate contolled area and was here for about a year. It was perfect for my needs. I worked with Christina from the start to end, and each time I had a question, she was always very friendly, knowledgeable, and professional, and her excellent customer service was appreciated. Thank you, I would use your services again.

**Update**
As of this morning the district manager Ruben reached out and we were able to come to a resolution. Thanks for handling the situation in a professional manner. These situations do need better handling going down the ladder. We will continue to use your storage services and hope to have better expectations and experiences in the future.

Mike the "store manager" for CubeSmart in Kyle, TX is the worst manager I've ever had to deal with. Very unprofessional. Definitely not a good customer service representative yet some how the face of that location. I had a late payment on my unit. 1 day late might I add. And actually still within the grace period so if you want, technically not late. The fee was $102 and some change. He explained that the billing is every 30 days and that after the 6th day you get a late fee. Today is the last day of my grace period so my late fee shouldn't be until tomorrow. After asking for his manager he stated that there is nothing that could be done. That his manager would just agree. I don't mind if I have to pay a late fee from time to time but from a ten dollar late fee to a hundred is a bit excessive. And on top of that, this place is always broken. If it's not the front gate it's the back. Restroom I'm sure has asbestos. CubeSmart get help. Mind everyone this place has had class action lawsuits on them in the past.
