Home Depot Mueller is the best store in Austin.
The Manager is awesome. The staff love their jobs!

Good place but employees don’t know much about construction anymore.

What an incredibly frustrating store. All the material carts are full of junk for customer orders, not customers shopping there, but windows or online orders and other things, so customers shopping there have to fight one another for empty carts.
Items don't have prices on them, cashiers can't eyeball a piece of insulation or apron or landscaping and have any idea what it is, they ask the customer to go back to the shelves and get prices for them instead of look them up.
The main material doors have been broken for MONTHS. It is the busiest time of the year for home depot and they have their customers and all their material carts funneled through the man doors, both directions.
There is junk in every aisle, stuff for sale left in the middle of aisles making it hard to pass. Forklifts abandoned. Materials on pallets or carts strewn about.
Damaged items returned to shelves, low inventory, and employees cursing like sailors.
It is like they are going out of their way to keep customers out of the store.

We just moved to Buda from South Austin. So I am used to the Southeast, Brodie, and Slaughter Home Depot’s. I’ve given the Buda HD at least 10 chances. Worst Home Depot I’ve ever been to by far. Most of the checkout out staff in the lumber lanes are unfriendliest unhelpful people. Not only Does the store now keep all of their lumber carts out in the parking lot. Now they’ve started to not even bring them in close. I have to go out to a cart return to bring one in. I’d say in the last five trips I’ve made to this Home Depot, I’ve walked out twice and headed to Lowe’s because there have not been carts. Maybe management should stop storing windows and returns on all the carts for days and let the customers actually get to use them.

Would not match their own competitors pricing. Visited kyle texas from Glendale Arizona. Staff customer service is a C-. The cash register systems were not working and had to wait over 30 minutes. Spent over $2800.00 for items needed from my sons move to kyle. Won't shop there after getting ripped of $200.00 from price matching. Hurry up and build a Lowes.

I live the Home Depot. Everyone is helpful and nice. They are a bit pricey when it comes to stuff that you would find at HEB, Target, or hobby lobby but if you’re coming here strictly for outdoor tools, you’re at the right place.

Great place for building supplies.

Kids hanging around talking and not even offering to help. Frequently have isles blocked off for stocking during times when most people shop, and are definitely in no hurry. Wood is green, even the good wood, and it dries and shrinks after installed.

My husband and I bought a gift card for my sister which got stolen at the register. We talked to management, and get treated like we were criminals. It was $100, so we wanted our money back. The cashier didn’t even notice! The incident was apparently caught on camera we come to find, and we are still treated horribly. We finally are given a gift card, but come to find, at the register with my sister across the state that it is EMPTY. That manager was so mean, and I guess got the last laugh. Yeah, we were never able to complain or ACTUALLY get compensated for being ripped off. Terrible customer service.

Had an error with an online order. Customer service was delightful but Assistant Manager Missy came to the station and was more than unpleasant. She automatically accumulated a rude attitude with me instead of trying to come to an agreement on a solution. She stated that my first mistake was ordering on “.com” (Their online system) because it sucked. I then proceed to request her higher up’s information because my issue kept getting answered with “the store didnt make any mistake so its not my problem”. She said I could call corporate and get the number from them, but I insisted that she find it and give it to me, it was the least she could do. She replied with “You dont know how to read or what?”
I am beyond disappointed with my experience after being a loyal customer and spending tons of money at this store specifically. After I left due to the frustration, I went to a different store and they helped me immediately and replaced the item that my order was missing. Shout out to the South Park Meadows location! They were awesome.

10 years ago, they had a hot cup of coffee waiting for you by the door and a greeter. Now they block off the entire loading zone. (Forcing people to park in the fire lane). They leave the big double door off so you have to push your 800lb cart full of concrete across to the other doors instead of the quickest route. Not to mention they never have carts in the store and make you walk across the parking lot to get a cart (which they line up in the fire lane as well) . Today I talked to my guys. We will be buying our material from Lowe's from now on for our business. They have hot coffee and let you pull into the loading zone, and the big doors open.

The associates at this store are hit or miss in terms of helpfulness, but the rat problem in the garden area is quite possibly a health hazard. And don't expect management to care should you come into contact with rat feces — I got a face full of it when pulling a box off a shelf, and the manager on duty just gave me a blank look when I mentioned it.
Hantavirus, anyone?

I was having a really hard time getting a phone sale done due to it being the weekend and my companies office staff working remotely. I was becoming embarrassed and frustrated and the gentleman at the pro desk (Dominick Florez) was extremely patient and understanding with me. Awesome customer service and went above the cut to help me get it resolved.
Thanks guys for all the help with our Kyle projects

I called and spoke with a female customer service rep and explained I needed 20 bags of Kaufman insulation and the machine to install it. She charged the insulation to our pro account (we spend a lot at HD; we would spend more if we had better interactions with employees or a dedicated account manager.) with no issues. I then asked if the you can confirm if The insulation machine for the installation of the $1200 worth of insulation I purchased is available and ready for pick up. She explained that that is not her department and that she will transfer me. I get it. I said no problem. I was transferred and waited about 2 to 3 minutes before the call canceled. I called back in for the rental department and directed me back to the service representative. I just spoke with whose name is Ashley. She wants again explain she couldn’t help me and wouldn’t let me get a word in before she transferred me again. Once again, no one answered and the phone disconnected then decided to call the elite support line, since we do get some benefits for the business, we bring the Home Depot. The elite support line explained there was nothing they could do regarding the tour rental and that she notate he issue with the representative Ashley at the Kyle location and said she would redirect me back to the customer service desk. I’ve been spoke with Ashley and explained that I spoke with the elite support and that they notated that we are having trouble getting in contact with the tour rental team. Ashley once again transfer me in once again and did after 2 to 3 minutes. I called again this time asking directly for customer service once again reaching Ashley. I explained I’ve spent 20 minutes just trying to confirm that you have the tool to install the $1200 worth of materials you sold me. I understand it’s not your department that they are not answering. She cut me off and explained, I supposed to know , if it’s in stock ? I suggested well I would walk over there and either talk to the guys if their present or if you don’t know what you’re looking for. It’s a blue machine that’s quite large and hard to miss next to a green machine that’s made out of metal for the fiberglass version of the insulation. She groaned as if I had ruined her morning and put me on Hold without any confirmation that she was actually going to go check if the machine was there. Luckily she picked up two minutes later asking what the machine looked like. I explained it’s a large metal blue machine or actually missed the time plastic. As well, there is usually a green metal machine nearby for the pink fireplace insulation. I said great thank you for your help and before I could finish the sentence she hung up.
As owner of two businesses that shop at Home Depot Almost daily; really most days more than once; with multiple employees that use company cards for various materials; I just really felt in important and a nuisance. All I wanted was to spend my money and schedule a pick up; something we do daily. I would love an account manager; this allows us to conduct a large amount business with other suppliers . The customer service Ashley lady today and clear the tool department has not interest in helping past taking my companies money for the insulation.
