My first time coming to this Kyle location in Kohl’s. I normally go into Austin but since i live in Kyle why not. There was almost no ppl there, I wasn’t greeted. Looked around trying to find a specific fragrance, I finally found it. Went to the register waited about 5 minutes while watching the staff “stock” the shelves. If you ever gone inside a Sephora store you know they always greet as soon as you enter and ask if there’s anything in particular you’re looking for. I wish the staff was friendlier and more welcoming. Oh and it’s my birthday and wanted to pick up my freebie but they had none also.

I moved here 6 months ago and never had customer service at any Sephoras I had ever been to until I went to this location. I am 65 yrs old and wasted so much money over the years on makeup! The guy that helped me was Cory. He approached me and asked if I needed help right away! Wow, he was so knowledgeable and professional! I was so impressed I went back for several other items and he took so much time with me suggesting what would look best on me, but never pushy! I am very satisfied with everything I bought. He certainly loves what he does and is very good at it!

Sephora sold me an expired foundation. When I came to the store to exchange it for the exact same item the other foundation was also expired. I opted for the exact same foundation in a different shade.
Because I used my Sephora points for a portion of the purchase they said I had a difference in the balance.
It’s ridiculous that I had to pay an additional fee to swap out an expired foundation they sold me. There should have been no price difference as it was the exact same product and this was their mistake selling me an expired product in the first place.
The lady had a poor attitude and was not looking to provide any kind of solution.

Highly dissatisfied with Sephora I came in July for my birthday gift and they had none and I ordered an item online and the policy is you cannot return Sephora ordered items to a Sephora inside kohls. Who wants to drive all the way to Austin to make a return? I asked the employee and she did not know other options for returning items. Not very good customer service from Sephora and that policy should be changed. All Sephoras should except their merchandise back. How unpractical and ridiculous it’s a huge inconvenience to drive three towns over to make return.

I feel like some of these reviews aren’t necessary about this store but the limitations in the partnership between Kohls and Sephora. Although annoying, I understand why Kohl’s can’t accept Sephora inventory but I also see why normal customers can’t tell the difference when they believe they’re shopping at an official Sephora store.Overall the selection is fine. Just seems like they have a hard time keeping inventory in stock. Not sure if they’re selling through so much product or related to other reasons. It seems like this location is starting to become better staffed and all the girls working there were really friendly. They all were helping out a customer on the floor. All and all… it’s a Sephora-lite store front. They don’t do make up applications, they don’t take Sephora GCs or returns but I much rather have a Sephora in Kyle then have to drive 20 mins to reach a Sephora store. My only negative is I wish their testers and inventory was replenished more often.

I dont remember her name :( but she sold me the isle of paradise sunny serum thingy just now and I love it! The girl who sold me it was such a doll, she helped me look and she was super honest and even looked up the reviews of the product to make sure it was good. She was so sweet! Lots of products were out of stock but that’s probably more of a management thing, the customer service employees were very nice! <3

The Sephora in Kohl’s looks like a real Sephora but will not accept a Sephora return if you bought something from Sephora online (unopened, unused). I was told by Sephora in Kohl’s and by Sephora on Brodie that Sephora in Kohl’s is “completely different” and only the “stand alone” Sephora stores will accept returns. The Sephora in Kohl’s appears like a stand alone store with the entrance decorated like a Sephora but as you get closer you realize there are clothes on racks and the Sephora store is a little store within a store and the clothes part is the kohl’s part. I’m not sure if this is a discount Sephora but it looks like a normal Sephora store. I was excited to see it driving by but it turns out it is not an actual Sephora store with the same policies as the normal Sephora stores. First and last time in a Kohl’s and a Sephora in a Kohl’s! Now I have to plan a trip into Austin to the “real” Sephora or mail it back. Annoyed but fine. Just wanted to save everyone else the hassle of going in here. I think they should name it differently, like “Almost Sephora” or “Sephora 0.5” to avoid people thinking it is regular Sephora, which is excellent.

Never have anything in stock, even after truck day. Whats the point of an empty store? Maybe they should order triple, just an obvious observation

The staff at this Sephora are worthless. They don’t greet or offer for help and when I walked up to one, she was full of attitude as if I was an inconvenience. They need to not hire trash.

I have gone in twice and my husband went in. They sold him the wrong perfume because the sales attendant was focused on the size and not the name he showed her in the picture. I went before Christmas and it was super messy and they were out of stock of all the designer cosmetics. I went back this January and there was nothing in stock, they didn't even have tester sticks out for the perfume, when I asked the girl told me to walk across the store and get them from the other side. I asked if they planned to ever get their stock regulated, she said, "It's the only Sephora between San Marcos, Buda & Kyle and people buy 2 of each item, since they cannot stop customers from buying 2 items they are always out of stock." I am super dissappointed.
