Just recently moved to Austin and had to get my break pads replaced. Smiley autoworker was recommended to me and I’m so glad I used them instead one of the big name companies. Kind of hard to find the place at first but very worth it. They were very professional and friendly—Minh was excellent to work with! Finished in a very timely manner and able to pick my car up the same day. Great experience!

I can not say or recommend Smiley Autowerks enough. They were referred to me by others in the Supra community and I am extremely happy that I went with them to work on my car. Their customer service is second to none. Mihn was exceptional to work with, keeping me updated with every aspect of the work being performed. Even when there were unforeseen complications (almost expected with a 30 year old car) they were willing to do what it took to correct the issue in a fair and reasonable way. It is not just the customer service that will make me a long time customer but their quality of work and attention to detail. They will me by go to shop from this point forward.

Helped me with an oil change and replacing my calipers and rotors. (Apparently the owner before me (or the dealer) put pads on bad rotors.) They also advised me to start considering fixing an oil leak. They advised this is normal in an Audi as old as mine, 2007. I feel very grateful. Car has gone from Seattle to Chicago to Austin in only a few months and over the winter, driving in snow, sludge, ice, etc. They also let me sit in their air conditioned office and work for a few hours. Their WiFi is great! Thank you so much!

Best performance shop in town, the people are so friendly and accommodating! I was able to refer so many of my friends here and they all left with with good feedback. Minh and Smiley and the techs take the time to really understand your car and the issues and create great game plans to tackle any project. They do everything from tuning, to dyno runs, literally anything you can think of that you want done to a car. Great service I cannot say enough about how awesome these guys are!

If you’re looking for a performance shop, this is the place to go. I’ve been a repeat customer at Smiley Autowerks since 2019 and they continue to earn my business year after year. Smiley, Minh, Cameron, and the rest of their team take so much pride in the work they do and treat me as a valued customer, which is rare in the auto industry. The attention to detail with my build and other work done on my cars has been seriously impressive as well. Extremely knowledgeable staff, customer centric operations, attention to detail with their work, in house custom fabrication, in house dyno tuning, and most of all, they don’t rush cars out the door. They take their time, build them the right way, and have supported me after my cars have left the shop. Don’t hesitate to let them help you on your high end build. If it can be done, they can do it.

Colton did the job by putting on my headers correctly but what i can't understand is how my intake snapped in half / seems like when whoever was working on my car was putting pressure on my intake which caused it to snap and eventually break on me in the middle of the road which costed me money / time / late to work. The Intake Snapped before the clamps / and towards the filter ( they don't break like that unless there's been pressure put on top of it, just be careful

Where do I even start?! What started as an absolute craze on my end turned to a trusting and peaceful experience. I pulled into a LONG driveway to what looks like somebody's rundown home - only to an open gaze of beautiful imports and my dream cars sitting in a yard and a shop full of friendly faces hard at work on some true racing machines. I was recommended to come to Smiley by a friend (and through others once confirmed) who had their entire car built by them a few years ago. Originally, I came to them in a panic after endless months of part-sourcing (truly blood, sweat, and tears), and they accepted me and my half-torn apart Japanese import (Toyota Chaser) with open arms and rescuing. IT was truly a light at the end of a very dark tunnel. For example.. what I thought I needed; steering rack, wheel bearing, and some body work (lights, bumper, etc.) (at least) What they were able to find and fix with perfection in an acute amount of time; rear toe arms, lower ball joint, radiator, and steering rack. They sourced all the parts and even asked me for approval on brands, provided expert recommendations and what not (for a car that is NOT easy to source parts for... I'm talking 6 weeks minimum typically for shipping), and all to a quick avail and success! The labor is not the cheapest you'll find if you're looking for something simple, but regardless - it's worth EVERY. SINGLE. DIME. and all invoices were even glanced over and approved by my most renowned professional driver friend. Furthermore, I've been provided nothing but consistent communication, updates, photos, and just good ol' check-ins regarding the parts needed, pricing, etc. . As someone who is very skeptical of most people and shops regarding my vehicles, I am genuinely stoked on finding this shop and all the lovely people who run it. This has become my go-to shop from now on and I wouldn't trust or want it any other way. Thank you so much for getting me back on the road, safely in style!

Hands down the best performance shop around!!! These guys took care of me through highs and lows, and got my Genesis Coupe back on the road running better than ever. Full bolt ons, custom fab work, standalone Ecu, tuning, they did it all. Minh was always honest with me on what state the car was in, and made sure I was on board. These guys are hands down the best performance shop I have ever used period. Ive had a lot of high horsepower cars and trucks built and the smiley team out classes all other tuners by a mile. They are quick to answer and respond, they provided me status updates daily and the finished product exceeded all expectations. We did a Ripatuned 900 kit on my TRX along with super charger porting, intake, and headers. This build put down 919 horsepower. Give the guys a smiley a shot and I can promise you they will become your go to shop.Service: General repairs & maintenance

I met Smiley by coincidence, my car had broke down and I was able to make it and parked in front of an auto parts store. I was stranded for 3-4 hours. As I sat there looking for answers online, he was on his way into the store looking for parts of his own. I drive a '71 Datsun and he approached the car asking if I was alright. Needless to say, he was the right guy for my JDM engine trouble needs. I highly recommend this man who truly has a passion for working on cars. If you need someone to assist you with any engine trouble this is the guy! Great value, made it home safely :-) Thanks Smiley!
