Call the LaGrange Dollar General Store multiple times and no one will answer the phone and I know they are not that busy especially with more than one employee

Filthy. Trash piles outside the front door the store was in absolute chaos. I don't think they swept in months. I've never been inside of such a messy, dirty store.

I had a really terrible experience at Dollar General in La Grange. The store manager behaved in an extremely unprofessional and disrespectful manner towards my family. They threatened physical violence towards my dad, accused my mom of stealing without any evidence, and refused to show us any video footage to support their claims. To make matters worse, they wouldn't provide us with their name, shouted at us in front of other customers, and ultimately kicked us out of the store. We immediately contacted Dollar General's corporate office to file a complaint, but I'm wondering if anyone else in the area has had a similar experience. It's truly disheartening to hear that the store manager mentioned they were specifically instructed to "watch us." We even suggested calling the police, but they refused to cooperate. I want to make it clear that my mom is a person of integrity and would never engage in theft. This whole situation is completely outrageous, and as a result, I will never set foot in that store again.

Check all prices before you Check out and take a picture to have ready to show the cashier when they try to screw you over. The price here are always off and the actual price is higher than listed nearly always.
