Always had great service here. I have a very specific cut sheet for my wagyu customers and they always accommodate. They will always call with any questions even on the line to make sure the order is correct. They are wonderful!!

I couldn’t be more pleased after picking up my order of beef from Legacy. The staff was friendly and helpful. Boxes and packages were organized, sealed and labeled very well. They knocked it out of the park with my caveman blend and steaks. Top notch experience all around. I’ll be doing all of my processing with them.

Picked up a side of beef from Legacy this morning, and could not be more pleased with the quality of the processing, and the organization of the packaging. The staff was friendly and helpful. All of the packages were clearly labeled, cut to order, and perfectly sealed! I highly recommend using Legacy for your processing needs! Cheers!

I took a small buck here for processing. All I had done was ground meat mixed 90 venison 10 beef. I was charger close to $300! My previous processor will do the same work and the bill is never over $125.Even after covid and inflated everything prices my processor still charges the same.The meat is great quality here but the prices are way to high when you can get the same thing done for a 3rd of the price.

The 1st time I went there was a fiasco. I took 8 lambs, my cut sheets weren't followed, packages were mislabeled and improperly sealed, they didn't follow my request for 1 lamb per box, I did not get all of my lamb back - 8 lambs have more than 20 legs. THEY DO NOT COMMUNICATE!OK, I thought I'd give them a 2nd chance - they had just bought the place, well shame on me, when I called (took 5 trys, already know they don't respond to voice mails) today to confirm my drop-off time I was informed that there is a beef inspection going on and they can't take my lambs, I guess they were just going to tell me when I showed up tomorrow. I'd give them negative stars if it would allow me.

An amazing ribeye and beef jerky. First time there,, driving by from Houston. I picked up a single steak and jerky to try it out. The most tender beef jerky I ever tried.I put the steak in the freezer and forgot about it until my son came home from college. He pulled it out yesterday to thaw and cooked it this evening. He put nothing but olive oil and a little pepper on and it was perfect...very tender and a great flavor.Planning to try the other cuts my next time through.

Pretty disappointed in this place. I will say their cryo-vac machine works well, and items are packaged nicely......and that’s about it.My take on this place, which I will never use again........they cost three times the price of previous annual processors. Anyone who has worked on a kill floor, who has done processing (or even shot a deer and cut out a blackstrap) knows, when have a 459lb hanging weight steer slaughtered, you should receive more than (6) 4 oz filets, and (6) 6oz strip loins, but I did receive the correct weight of ribeyes. If I had to guess, the outstanding marbling of the steer I raised, got cherry picked and sold off.... Not feeling good about using them, and lesson learned.

I go from Smithville to this store and surprised it changed hands as meat was so good. Well, the pork chops from the new store were amazing along with being tender and very tasty. I will continue to drive here from Smithville.
