The leasing process was easy and the over the phone customer service was excellent from start to end. The follow up with email confirmation and the instructions for registration and form completion was also clear and easy to follow. Looking forward to long term storage with RecNation.

Great place to store your trailer or RV.
I have a storage unit and a flatbed trailer stored here.... very convenient and lot cheaper than Galveston. it's just right over the bridge to the right

This place came in handy in a quick pinch. Tahra was so incredibly helpful and got me set up with exactly what I needed. The facility is clean, gated. and easy to access. 24 hr access is available upon request, so its not open all hours so no worries about random people coming in.

Update number two. Scratch that about RecNation settling our problem. After several phone calls and them telling us they deleted our account, this morning I woke up to the draft from my account that they told us they stopped. Update: we were actually contacted about our experience from the home office and they have graciously settled the issues we had. It is nice when a business actually communicates.
I would give a zero if I could. Do not rent from here. First of all, you can't see the unit until you rent. They were informed of our equipment and assured us ours would fit. The next morning we went to the storage unit with the code they gave us, and there was no way our equipment would fit. We called immediately and asked for a couple of other unlocked units and we're told that was not possible. We told them to cancel immediately. Less than a day. They drafted the amount for the rest of the month and when my husband called today, they told him they were going to draft a full month for August even though we could not get our equipment in the storage unit
I do not recommend this place to anyone. They are scam artist and their phones are answered overseas. No one on site. Also, they said secured with a gate code. It was open when we arrived to look at it and there was no one on site. The gates were just open. So the property is not secure as advertised. This is a very accurate review. Your team is the one that stated you didn't have other available units. There were no locks on the ones we gave them and nothing was in them and the first one told us h26 was going to be available, which we could have used. We called immediately, upon seeing the unit. They would not give us a code to the gate that was supposedly locked, until we agreed to rent. So how were we supposed to know how close the buildings were before seeing them? If you read the reviews on the different sites you will see the complaints about the gates being open, even one person said their power cord was stolen. We tried to make it work. So to say, it is not accurate is wrong. We didn't even ask for our deposit back, but when my husband called today again. He was told you would charge us for next month too. We didn't even use the unit and called immediately to try and trade. So yes, I left a review on 6 sites so if anyone searches your location they will be forwarned of your business tactics and how you treat customers. Why don't you listen to your so called recorded calls?

Tom did a great job assisting me with my reservation for vehicle storage. He is polite, informative and took his time to explain my options for storing my truck and how the dates/length of my truck’s stay in storage would effect the price of the lease for the space. I received the application for lease and information regarding the lease in my email right away and Tom offered to stay on the phone with me until off the electronically sent documents arrived. Excellent job!

DO NOT STORE at their facility. I had been a RV tenant at the Texas City location since it was opened in 2020 under the previous owners. I had no issues until RecNation took over. Constant gate issues. They gave me a 2 day notice they would be painting the facility and to move my unit forward 10 feet. They guaranteed they would drape and make sure no over spray. Fast forward the contractors got over spray all over my unit plus they stood on my roof to paint the overhang of the building. No effort from RecNation to rectify simply forward me to the contractor. FINAL issue was prior to Hurricane Beryl coming in. They are adding additional enclosed storage and had construction debris including sheet metal and trash in piles everywhere. I called in to request they move it in advance of the storm coming in and asked they call me back. No call back, NO removal of the debris. I had to move my unit to a safer location due to their negligence. I emailed in requesting to cancel and speak to mgmt. Even after all of this they stated have to give 30 days notice. I requested a copy of the lease stating this to no avail and even further no acknowledgement of their failure to secure the premises.
