Mac McGaffey Highland Bayou Park is a 230-acre nature park in La Marque, Texas. It is a great place to visit and spend quality time. The park features baseball fields, a playground, canoeing and kayaking, hiking trails, a bird sanctuary, and an observation deck. There are tennis and basketball courts, a horseshoe pit, shade shelters, and bar-b-que facilities. It offers tons of fishing holes and a big pavilion for parties. The park is super clean with clean bathrooms and a large parking area. It is dog-friendly. The park is open from dawn to dusk, making it a nice spot for photographing birds and watching amazing sunsets.

We actually have only visited here twice for the crayfish festival but its a beautiful area and the kids enjoyed it

Great place for the family. Pavilion and several shaded picnic areas. Fishing dock and a few good fishing holes off the main path. Great for kayak fishing too.
