“We have been through good times and rough times with this office. I have seen staff and patients come and go, but the patient care has never been compromised in the 12+ years Dr. Johnson has been seeing me. Dr. Johnston has found the way to help heal the sick who have had temporary tough times. The patients and their personal financial situations always find a way to bounce back. The quality of the education of the nursing staff has never been compromised. The professionals of the office staff have always communicated with me on any changes in my appointments or any new opportunities that would allow me to see the doctor at an earlier time or date so that I may get treated faster and heal quicker so that I can return to work. That item alone keeps my employer happier. The patient care that I received by Dr. Johnston has always been above standard and very thorough. It's never been a wavering standard of quality that I have seen in other professionals offices . I've had no complaints over the years no matter how much time they've had between patients. I've never had the 10-minute shuffle where I have to wait 4 minutes to see a doctor who talks to me for 6 minutes on a good day and then leaves the room never to be seen again. Their nurses and Dr. Johnston have always listened completely to what I had to say in reference to my ailments and doing so have been able to make a complete and precise diagnosis and treatment. I have never had to go back to this doctor's office to be treated for the same illness a second time because it wasn't done right the first time . The transition to concierge medicine for this office is going to take some getting used to. They are bringing in additional MDS and PAs to take care of the patients outside of the concierge practice. Dr. Johnson's always kept his eye on everything as to not to be overbearing but just to ensure the quality of care that everyone's receiving. He is always available for questions by staff or even by patients who feel that they have that one last forgotten question. That's the tough part about being a good doctor that behaves like a good person with every one. There's so few of those doctors left anymore. Patients really reach out to you and ask to take up your time. Do I sound like a groupie? Possibly! The thing is, I do know is that no matter what happens when I walk through those doors I will always get quality Care and I'll not be shoved back out the door or sent over to some drugstore Doc in the box with medical training from some internet sight located in a town I have never heard of. This caregiver is not a spectacular medical professional who is diagnosing me while I hear them flipping pages in their microffice.
My sore throat is being misdiagnosed as tonsillitis instead of possibly throat cancer due to inexperience. Dr. Johnston has a very high success rate in diagnosing what is called the Widowmaker and saving lives before that. Aneurysm takes that patients life in less than 2 minutes after rupturing. It's also referred to as the silent killer. There are a number of people that Dr. Johnston has referred to cardiologist before the patient has a cardiac event and is unable to be saved. Honestly, I've been around a long time. I've been in medic since I was 15 years old with experience working in hospitals both medical and psychiatric for over 7 years and I've seen quite a bit. So as far as this doctor and his staff are concerned you're going to definitely get the above standard of care no matter how you pay. I think I've said enough to make my point. Call the office and get the fax in reference to the financials and see exactly what the prices are going to be and who's going to be giving a care. Don't take rumors instead of truth because you'll only be hurting yourself. You are worth a lot more, not only to yourself but to your family to find out the truth.”

“I got a real live person on the phone at the facility on falcon pass drive immediately She helped me upload my insurance card to make the process go faster upon arrival. The fact that is a walk in clinic made me worried I could not get in . I was brought to the back to be seen immediately and complete paperwork there and explain my issues. I was quickly tested - UTI - positive. And reviewing my medical needs etc given a prescription . After I told her my Walgreens was closed the nurse practitioner called
another and I had meds in 10 minutes ! All the staff was great, clean and attentive to needs . I will chose Gemini urgent care First next time!!!”
