Sat here waiting for a registered letter & they never came up to house. Stuck notice in mailbox that i wasn’t home Front door was open so if they actually came to the house they would have seen that someone was home. security cameras show no one came to house. Lazy

Worst city I’ve lived in by far for when it comes to mail everyone in my neighborhood always bringing each others mail to them because they can’t get it right I don’t know how hard it is to look at numbers on a envelope then on a mailbox and stick it in the mailbox absolutely ridiculous. On top of that don’t call them if your in a good mood because they will absolutely ruin it with their child like attitudes always having some kind of attitude completely disrespectful and lazy

Called about my package marked delivered this past Saturday. Spoke to lady who answered the phone only to put me on hold. When she finally came back I gave her my tracking #. She never identified herself but she took great offense to me calling her “lady”. She wanted to be called by her name she said was Lisa Denise Ontiveros. She went on to tell me that my package was delivered. I proceeded to tell her that if my package was placed in my mailbox but could not provide any proof of said action. Told me I would have to drive to La Vernia post office for that but even at that she kept saying she was unable to provide proof 🤬. She was very adamant that maybe another person in my household or even a stranger might have stolen it. Yeah right like the postal workers are infallible. I had to ask for name of the supervisor 2 times before she stopped taking my complaint so personally because I told her she was useless never displaying any empathy or compassion immediately becoming so defensive. She asked for my phone number so she could have Gilbert Mendez return my call. She then realized that she already had my phone number then why ask for it OMG what a “idiot”. I myself work in customer service and 1st lesson is never take the customer opinion personal. Of course the consumer is going to be upset because you are not helping diffuse the situation you are only repeating same response over and over.
I have never had any problems with Post Office before so I wonder if Ms Ontiveros is new or just unable to handle similar situations. You don’t demand respect “lady” you earn it.

Had an issue with a package/ shipper envelope and had to speak to the post master...he was out to lunch and asked him to give me a call back this afternoon but never received a call back had to make several trips to this post office and still not resolved. Will update once resolved to give details and update rating!!!

Most workers are friendly and helpful. I would say that one worker, although helpful, can seem quite meh about you. Just FYI for u, you'll get friendly and polite from everyone else. And yes, expect to wait in a line for a few minutes during peak times just like any other business. Oftentimes, they only have one person working the front, which could be what the complaints are about. And passports, come back later if u don't want to wait the 15 minutes or so. Lastly, our mail has been opened several times with gift card missing once. and have also had lost mail more so than any other places weve lived. Not blaming anyone mail thieves can be anybody.

This branch is under staffed and when you throw in passports, over tasked! I GREATLY respect the workers but until they get more employees, walk out if they're doing passports!

Continuously poor service. Long lines, excessive talking between employees and people they might know, curt and rude to those they don't. I always dread going here.

I WOULD GIVE 0 STARS IF I COULD, SONTHIS 1 STAR IS ME BEING GENEROUS. I PAID FOR 25 STAMPS AND GOT 18. I WAS ALSO CHARGED FOR THE 25 BUT THATS NOT WHAT I GOT.

Can't get anyone on the phone. Never had issues with USPS before moving to LV. This time they sent my package to Harlingen, TX instead of delivering to my house. Multiple issues in 4 years with this Post Office. Very Sad & irritating.

Great staff. The clerks are always friendly and ready to help with any problems with delivery. No question or issue is ever met with an attitude, something I can't say about other delivery services I've encountered. The carrier that delivers our mail is the best we've ever had. 5 Stars, easily.
