This hospital is free to go because it's a military hospital. I know it may be arrogant to complain of their service even though I took free medical services, but what I experience this week was too awful.I visited the family emergency center because I had fever and felt cold, and checked in at 4PM. And then, there was a quick check up about my condition (temperature, pulse and so on)right after checking in. After 3 hours, they had antigen tests of covid and flu on me, so it was 7 PM. The time I heard the result was 11PM. I went home at 12PM. I had to wait for 8h with 103.5° fever. I'm pretty sure that the waiting time worsend my condition. I was almost crying over, feeling I was eternally forgotten.I feel the staff are doing great job. They are kindful. The problem is the system how they treat their patients.

Very poor system! Had to wait for 3 hours just to check my vitals then another hour to be seen by the doctor then another hour to get discharged instructions. So total of 5 hours to be treated for conjunctivitis. They need to improve their system. .The military community deserve better than that!

Dr. Cherry Bin Maximo is the worst. If you have ever had a visit with her, go back and read your progress note she will lie in the progress note stating she told you to do something and she did not. She did not get my medications correct even after me telling her what I took I stopp a trial medication months ago she put in the progress note that I take that medication at 1 am and 2pm that was a lie I no longer take the medication. She would ask a question and cut me off as I answered. When I brought it to her attention, she rolled her eyes. I guess she forgot the mask did not cover her eyes. Then she lied in the progress note about her actions and put the blame on me. This was on 02/15/2024. On 01/03/2024 I had a phone visit with her told her I had COVID she never documented that I told her I had COVID. for the same visit she lied and said she provided information that she did not provide. She does not want to do her job she told me it was my responsibility to get my physical therapy and pain management records. I am a nurse it is not the patient's responsibility to make sure the doctor is prepared for the visit it is the clinic staffs responsibility. I can only imagine what Dr. Cherry Bin Maximo is ding to patient's who have not spoken up

This is the worst clinic I have been to in my entire life. The staff is condescending, rude, and will do whatever they can to send you on a goose chase. They will constantly mess up your medication refills, they will find ways to literally make your life uncomfortable as possible, and they will rush you along like a trainee. I hate these people from the bottom of my soul.

I received excellent eye surgery here, my optometrist once convinced me that people are losing their eyesight because they’re only eating the whites of the eggs. Thank you.

Their lab processes are terrible! I was the 3rd person to check in, but it took 40 minutes to be called back!

Came back a year later to give them another chance. Brand new staff and only had a pleasant encounter with 3. We have been here since 12pm and it is now currently 1557. If you have children who need to go to the ER for anything, take them to BAMC. BAMC is your much faster, safer, and more kind bet. There have been people who hasn’t been here for more than an hour that has been seen and sent on their merry way. By far, this hotel looks nice but it doesn’t live up to the standards it has set in place. I’d feel much better at a civilian hospital. Atleast they prioritize their patients and follow protocol properly. Not to mention you’re not there all day wondering where their doctors are hiding. Literally just watched a doctor pass by with a box full of powdered doughnuts, and then walk by again with all of the individual packages decorated with ribbons. Wilford Hall ER deserves 0 stars in all honesty.0Customer 0Doctors knowledge/0

A clear example of the military continuously trying to do more with less, all the while maintaining a spit and polish image. Nice facility, however, long lines and ques, along with hurried treatment.I am sure the medical personnel are doing the best they can with the people they have, however, they probably are just over saturated with lack of additional personnel. As a patient, do your part to remedy, use the complaint avenue and feedback reports. Hopefully one day the military can be staffed enough to perform at a higher standard of care.

Not going lower than 3 stars because I really don't mind waiting. I got here at 1030, it is now 1430 and I've just been seen by a provider at the ER. He told me 20 minutes ago that he was going to give me an inhaler and a SIQ slip for bronchitis. Got some good naps though with all the waiting.

Try BAMC instead - the majority of Wilford Hall patients are Basic Trainers. My impression is that providers here begin their assessment from the standpoint that the patient is faking an injury … with a goal of turning them around and sending them back to basic training. I am not a trainee, but that is precisely how I was treated. received a quickie chat with the provider “knowing” the problem before even talking to me; he did not examine me in any way, and dismissed my suggestions without any attempt to investigate the problem. I know what it feels like to be blown off, and that is exactly what happened here. This was 100% what people “assume” military medical care will consist of. There’s better care out there.

After coming to Wilford Hall for twenty five years for bloodwork taking ten minutes door to door, it now takes three to four hours. I don't know who runs this place but it is a total clusterF. Not to mention they STILL haven't removed the old hospital from in front of the new one and you have to walk a mile just to get inside. It's fun when it 100 degrees outside. What a total and complete joke. They ought to throw the person in charge in the clink.

I took my daughter into the ER on 7 Sep 2023. The tech evaluated her and could tell she was having trouble breathing. She was seen by doctor T. Bloom for over 3 hours and was only given one albuterol treatment and a lung xray. She was not given a Covid, Flu or RSV test although she had several symptoms for any one of the three viruses. She was further sent home with only a diagnosis of a cough & lung mass. The care my daughter received in the ER was unacceptable after sitting in the back for so long. I would not recommend taking your child to Wilford ER if you have other options.Update: My daughter was able to be seen by her primary care team the next day. They tested her for several viruses, ordered blood work, another xray, MRI and gave her further albuterol treatments. They found that she had Rhinovirus and still awaiting on further results.

Went in to the emergency room this morning for my GERD acting up. Nurses were rude and completely wrote me off. Doctor came in talked to me for literally less than 5 minutes and told me to leave. Not only did this place not help but it just made me more depressed
