The Lackland Commissary is a convenient on-base grocery store that caters to the needs of the local community. While it may not have the same extensive selection as larger off-base stores, it offers a decent variety of products, including a good selection of spices, snacks, and canned goods. The prices are generally reasonable, and the store is a popular choice for those who live on the base and need to quickly pick up something they've forgotten. However, there are a few areas where the Lackland Commissary could improve. Some customers have reported issues with the freshness and expiration dates of dairy products, with instances of items being a week or more past their expiration date. Additionally, the curbside pickup service has been described as disorganized, with long wait times and inaccurate pricing. Despite these drawbacks, many customers appreciate the convenience of the Lackland Commissary and the organic produce options available. The store is generally well-stocked, and customers are encouraged to support it to ensure its continued operation on the base.
Very fresh fruit n veggies for decent prices and many international available foods you won't find in local grocery stores, other than usage fee, very viable n competitive pricing.

I can almost always find what I’m looking for here. My biggest “complaint” about the commissary is that it doesn’t carry cheaper generic brands like Walmart & HEB carry.

Large commissary that has everything you would need. Fair prices and good selections.
