Not only is the store reasonable with prices, they focus on helping the community with donations, sales, and back their employees 100 percent. Thomas, the store manager, is a kind knowledgeable guy.

Convenient close to home. Awesome staff that cs. Pretty much to answer your questions. Very glad they are in Lago Vista. I remember the day no matter what you had to drive to Cedar Park down the old 2 lane 1431, usually a wreck and was pretty dangerous.

Need to educate the young business associates how to help customers and where items are stalked. Last visit it was just a Black Sabbath festival and customer service was last priority.

Walked up at 6:50 store closes at 7. I left work a little early to make it in time considering I know this store pretty well I would have been in and out less the 5 minutes. Julian or Jillian the manager or night of 1/17/23 and her crew I guess knew I was coming as they rushed to the back. Doors were locked. I waited until I could speak to the manager on staff and ask why they closed before 7 and explained ohh we close the store at 6:55 now... what a lame excuse I was even there before that. I know this is something simple but any other corporate franchise or major business that finds out they are closing their doors before the advertised closing time have a 0 tolerance policy. Think about it if this happened consistently I was probably going to have a $40 purchase and multiply that by 365 days a year if this were to happen daily that's $14,600 a year the company misses out on. Numbers add up don't they ? Stay open as advertised is all I can ask for.

Staff is helpful and helps you find things if you need. Store is nice and clean and organized. Doesn't have quite everything that a Home Depot would have but it's nice to have in Lago Vista. I believe that you can also go online ahead of time and order something to be shipped to your local Ace Store, if they do not have it in stock.

Quite unfortunate you can’t take the time to let customers know who are waiting at the register you’ll be with them shortly or just recognize we’re even there. Sorry Sun Hardware & lumber had it cheaper and was able to get me in and out within 5 minutes with a smile on their face. Do better Ace.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!! DO NOT SHOP WITH THIS "BUSINESS"! Worst professional experience in 30+ years! Delivered (3 days late, forcing use of first vacation day) 1/3 of several thousand dollar/several major appliance order. Still had us at end of day. Refused to reschedule piece THEY SCHEDULED WITHOUT NOTICE OR PERMISSION FOR 4TH DAY LATE FORCING 2ND VACATION DAY AND INABILITY TO PREPARE FOOD unless we called a 2nd number (after business hours) because the first rep "doesn't do that." Well, apparently none of their employees "do" much of anything including preparing, delivering, providing customer care, scheduling, communicating, etc!! AVOID!!! Use a payment method that will support you when you have to escalate!!! *and they also still have a backorder fridge/freezer not due until, at least, Saturday. Ordered all this about a month ago....and is Saturday true? With all parts?

Don't waste your time, bad attitude by management. Make sure what you're buying is exactly what you want, because returns can be tricky. Sun Hardware is located less than a half a mile away, and is staffed with friendly people willing to help you all the time. I'll drive 15 miles to Cedar Park for a nail before I patronize this establishment again! I am a local and I have lived here over six years. Sadly it used to be a pretty decent store.

Tried to get a key made for my RV. The young man did not know what an RV was. I explained that our RV is pulled by a dually truck as he was trying to sell me an ignition key. But, he referred me to a postal service in Jonestown that was able to make the keys I needed. When I got home my husband had quite a chuckle over the young man. He did try his best to help. Lol

This hardware store is always great! Especially if Mike is there! Well stocked with any handyman homeowner's needs plus nice garden and plants area. Many young staffers but there's usually a knowledgeable "veteran" available.

Absolutely awful service and it breaks my heart. There was a young gentleman with a reddish brown beard at the front counter and he opted to close the doors a couple of minutes early. I had an electrician at my house and he needed to replace a breaker. I called Ace Hardware 15 minutes before they were supposed to close to ask if they had it and I told the young lady that I was on my way and that I'd be there in 10 minutes as I was off Boggy Ford. It took me 13 minutes. I knocked on the front door at 6:58pm because it was not 7:00pm and asked if I could just buy the 30 amp breaker real quick - he denied me and did so incredibly rudely and dismissive. I asked if I could get his name and he said verbatim, "it doesn't matter you can get off my property." I asked if the young lady was there and he said raising his voice, "get off my property NOW." I was nothing but polite to the young gentleman, I let him know I had called and spoke to a young lady and I told him I had an electrician at the house and if I couldn't buy the breaker I would have to pay for another electricians visit trying to appeal to his humanity, because I know that you get further with honey rather than vinegar I remained kind. After 23 years as a military officer, I'm not going to argue with a young cashier. This young gentleman spoke as if he or his family owned the place, this might be the case? I did immediately go to my car and call the phone number hoping the young lady would answer, but the phone picked up and immediately hung up without so much as a word. I am only writing this review in hopes of getting the attention of the store owner (if this young man is not it) and letting them know how their employees are treating potential customers. After 23 years, we've opted to retire here in Lago Vista. My preference is to shop local and support small businesses, but after this first experience I cannot in good conscience come here again - this was a surreal experience. I truly hope that Ace has cameras and can review this evening's camera (6:58pm on 26 Aug). As a small business, I still wish you the best and hope that others don't have a similar experience.
