Arkansas Bend is a favorite. Lovely new campsites. The bathes were private and pristine. I truly enjoy camping here. The staff are helpful and friendly.

Love this place. Each site is brand new. Even the public shower house was redone. And they are still adding additional campsites and mini cabins right now!! Each campsite has a lot of space. The area around the park has nice short hiking and biking trails and plenty of wildlife to see. The only downside is that the water at Lake Travis was only at 44%. So it was quite a hike to get to the water. But once you made it to the water, it was definitely refreshing. Once the water is back to what it is supposed to be, we will definitely be back!!Playground: Awesome looking new playground at the day use area for all ages to useRestrooms: Clean and newly remodeledPicnic area: Nice spread out picnic tables where you won't be right on top of the others.

This is such a nice park! And, they will have 18 cabins hopefully by fall! A lovely place to camp or go for the day! There is a new play area for children with lots of tables scattered around with lots of room between. The access to the lake for swimming/fishing is a rocky walk and as a fit 66 year old female I did just fine. But, if you’re not sure footed or need other access means please know this may not be the place for you. Bathrooms are new, very spacious and clean. And, the park offers loaner life jackets in all sizes for those wanting to go in the lake. We used two of the children sizes for my grandchildren because we forgot theirs at the rental house. We went for the day and although you have an entry fee you may leave and return during that day. We plan to go back and hope to try the cabins soon!!! Good job on the park!!!?

Beautiful park to camp at! It’s very well maintained and clean. Lake Travis was a little low but good to take a drip in. The campsites are gated but you can come and go as you please. $5 for entry per person and $20 for the improved campsites overnight stay per night. Staff is very helpful and friendly. Make sure to book your reservation online in advance!

Beautiful location with clean restrooms and brand new kids play equipment. Lake water level is a bit of a hike, but with some good shoes it's not too bad. This place will be amazing when the water rises.Fees: $5 for day use passRestrooms: Very clean, with flush toilets

The park is clean and the amenities, like the water fountain with bottle fill, and cushioned walking path, are great. However, climate change has rendered this useless. There. Is. No. Water. The place looks like a quarry.I cannot in good conscience recommend this park to anyone.

This park was the perfect weekend away in our RV. The sites were large and while not concrete they were equally as nice as concrete. We loved the trees, trails and nearby park. The view was beautiful and staff made check in very easy. We certainly recommend.

Highly recommend coming here for a chill vacation get away. The park is very open. So much so even on its busiest day we had at least 100 yards between us and the closest other family. The only thing I recommend is you bring water shoes or wear some form of shoe wear in the water. The zebra muscles are very common in almost every inch of the water and will leave you with papercuts all over your feet and hands if you aren't careful.

Love it. Know that when you come out here, the sites are cheap, but you have to pay a fee per person per day (which we aren't used to). So instead of $20/ night it came out to $100 for 3 nights,2 adults, 2 children. We'll definitely come back though. There's a camping pad, electricity, water (although brown upon arrival),a fire pit, a fire ring, nice restrooms with a shower, walking trails and dare i say...wifi.None of the sites appear to be super shaded, only partially shaded... although i did see someone hang their hammock on the trees around the pad. So there's shade that way. No matter what site you're at, you're close to a restroom with a shower. With that said, our nearest restroom was closed. There was another one not too far, though. You do have to hike down steep and rocky hills to access the lake. Fine for us, but not our 14-year-old fur baby.Visit #2 was another fantastic trip! We had site 5, which was RIGHT next to the restroom, which is great for those 2am/4am potty trips. ?I ran into the maintenance man and the site hosts, who are all fantastic and friendly. I saw the maintenance man having to clean the pits each morning. It would be a nice gesture, for anyone staying, to clean the pits after their use. If you're up to the task, take a small shovel. I'd recommend the park provide a shovel (since we didn't think of it) for anyone inclined to clean the pit.We had friends join us on night 2 and they LOVED the park. They camp about 3x per year and said it's the nicest park they'd ever been to. They'll be back, as will we!

Beautiful and quiet park with stellar views of Colorado river. Water is extremely low right now and it was a good hike down to waters edge. Sat for a while under some shade trees. Excellent playground with new equipment for kids, several walking trails for mild intensity and one longer six mile trail we may do another time. Bathrooms new and clean. Great spot for us to get out of the city and enjoy the natural beauty of the riverside and hill country.
