Buc-ee's, Limited

Convenience Stores , Gas Stations
Hours: Buc-ee's, Limited is a popular and well-loved chain known for its clean bathrooms, friendly staff, and great selection of food and merchandise. Many customers praise the stores for their cleanliness and the variety of items available, including their famous T-shirts. The gas stations are generally appreciated, with some noting the convenience of cheap prices and the quality of the food. However, there are some concerns expressed by customers. One common issue is the pre-authorization hold on credit cards for gas purchases, which can be as high as $350 and may remain on hold for up to 30 days, causing inconvenience for customers. Additionally, some shoppers have experienced return policy frustrations, especially regarding the inability to return multiple items on a single receipt and the placement of policy notices that are hard to see. A few customers also mentioned that certain locations, like the Bastrop, Texas store, have friendly staff and good restrooms but warned about food that may cause sickness, such as burritos. Lastly, some customers feel that certain Buc-ee's locations are smaller and less impressive than others, which can be disappointing for those expecting the larger, iconic stores. Overall, Buc-ee's is regarded as a top-notch establishment with excellent amenities, though some operational issues have been noted.
