The Lake Jackson Recreation Center is a place with lots of great childhood and current memories, great for family outings with lots of things to do. The facilities are typically well taken care of. Many visitors enjoy the natatorium for swimming, though it is noted that the waterslide is typically closed during water aerobics classes, so planning ahead is recommended. Activities like storytime for children are highly recommended, with friendly leaders who are well aware of children's attention spans, incorporating reading, physical activity, and a craft. The park areas are also available for activities like using RC cars. While many have an excellent experience, some administrative processes, such as applying for a family monthly plan for swimming, can be confusing and may require documentation. Employees are often described as wonderful, kind, knowledgeable, and polite, providing a warm greeting that makes visitors feel at home.
It was a rainy kind of day so there was not many people at the park. We took advantage of this time to bring our RC cars.

Took my 3 year grandson to storytime. The women leading the storytime were well aware of their attention span. Did some reading but also incorporated physical activity. Both ladies are friendly and encourage all children to participate. And last but not least, a craft. Highly recommend.
