The Midas in lake Jackson has the best customer service. They remember you by name when you walk in, and they are honest when giving you recommendations for what your vehicle needs. This is the only place I will take my vehicles!

Took my son's truck there to have the brakes checked, rear brakes and rotors needed replaced. I agreed to have that done. My son picked up his truck and was told it was good to go, he drove to Houston and back and called me saying he had to back to Midas because he could smell his brakes. After inspection they called and said he needed new calipers so I headed down to see what the story was. The manager told me that when they released the truck 3 days earlier the calipers were sticky but they didn't bother informing us. I asked to talk to the owner and he offered to replace both back calipers for $299. I said that I would buy the parts else where and that he should supply the labor for free since they endangered my sons life. He agreed but when the truck was picked up they demanded a payment of $250. I called on Monday morning a week ago to speak with the owner but have yet to receive a return call. I will walk before I ever take another car to his business and will spread my experience to everyone I know.

Do not take your vehicle to Midas if you care about your safety. They changed out my husbands breaks before a road trip and the wheel almost came off when we were driving. My two young daughters were with us too. Very scary moment. The stud snapped off while we were driving and three of the other nuts were lose. Owner does not care and they do not torque bolts based on what the manager told my husband. The owner never called back and never asked if we were ok. Do you want to trust them with your family’s safety?

Dropped into the shop on a Friday afternoon with a serious bearing issue, and needed to drive out of town on a long road trip the next day. Jason immediately took my van in and got it up on a rack and had a technician pulling tires to diagnose the problem. He showed me what was wrong, gave me an accurate quote for repair and said he could get it done that day. And they did!!!!
So pleased with both the service and the price!!!
