Gave me checks for a savings account that I do not put my deposits into. Caused me so much grief as I wrote checks to pay the mortgage, etc. All returned due to insufficient funds with huge fees. This has absolutely been a shocker. How can Union be so incompetent?

Extremely poor service on loan payments . Pay my loan at least a week prior to it’s due date and payments never post on time and no one at the 1 800 call center seems to know who to contact when transferring you to speak to someone .

Please open at 7am/8am again. Very inconvenient hours of operation for the working community. Closing at 5pm is beyond inconvenient.

As many have mentioned, TDECU is not a company to do business with. First, you will wait for hours in lines because they only have a single teller helping remote and onsite banking Second, don't bother filing a claim of fraudulent activity happens on ANY of your accounts. They are slow to investigate and will find ways not to reimburse your money. Third, their apathetic, shiftless, lazy managers pretend to be busy and stare at their computer screens pretending to be busy. There are a ton of more solid credit unions in the area, I urge you to check them out first.

Don't expect to feel like a valued member if you choose to bank here. The service has gone downhill and members are just numbers. Find a credit union in your area that still believes in "people helping people" or do yourself a favor and bank with Chase or Wells Fargo because at least their technology works and employee expertise is better there.

Small town bank with a corporate bank mentality. I've had an auto loan with them for almost 4 years. I've never been late. in fact, I've always paid early. Without notice, they changed their online presence. I was unable to make a payment, but doubled up the following month. They charged me $30 for being late. I asked them to waive the fee due to them changing their website. I was told too bad, so sad. No personality. Go with a credit union that's more than just a great place to work, but actually cares and supports their members.

I recently bought a brand new 2023 Chevy Tahoe. TDECU was who financed my husband and I when the dealership ran our credit scores. I wish I would have **DECLINED** TDECU and went with a different finance company with the **HIGHER** interest rate!!! THAT SAYS A LOT!!! I have had hell getting someone on the phone. This week I received the first statement, and the statement had instructions on how to create an online login to make payments. I have followed every step, and still cannot get logged in (even after making several phone calls). Every single person that we have talked to has given different information and has told me to call again the next business day if it still doesn't work! Not to mention the times I was able to get someone on the phone, they have a heavy accent and only give you three minutes to complete their questionnaire. THIS IS BEYOND FRUSTRATING AND ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS! Save yourself the headache, do your research, and *GO ELSEWHERE*!

The banking hours of this bank have become so useless and minimal. Over-crowding the bank in a 2 hour window span like it's a Taylor Swift concert is ridiculous.

After nine year multiple good loans 820 credit score and enough cash in my account to pay cash for it. I applied for a used car loan to but a second hand run around truck. I applied for the online loan which didn't ask a thing about the truck at all. All it wound up being was really a credit check. Then I called in from work to finally talk to a person 1/2 hour later I gave up put in for a call back when it came no one was on the line. I called back and told the person what happened they put me back on hold for onother half hour. Finally gave up and drove the the bank and waited there for help. When I was finally helped if you can call it that I sat down the person started putting in for the loan then all of a sudden pushed the quote from the dealer and my ID back across the desk and said they wouldn't do the loan because it had over 100k miles. .if they had asked on the online application a darn thing about the truck in the first place I wouldn't have had to deal with their poor customer service wasting my day dealing with them I have been in the same spot with other banks and they have made the loan into a personal loan for me this place offered nothing just shoved my stuff across the desk said sorry..The dealer gave me another credit unions name called them they are willing to do the loan but I have to join as a member and fund my accounts and I don't believe they have a branch in town

My wife and I purchased a car for our daughter and the note was financed through TDECU (not our choice and never heard of this institution before). If we are a day late on the monthly car payment (which takes 10 days to clear from our bank to TDECU because they don't seem to have the internet at TDECU), our home and cell phones ring nonstop with collection efforts (this is on a used car worth $5,000, mind you). We have received 40 collection calls this week for a payment that cleared 5 days ago. This is truly the most aggressive financial institution I have ever interacted with. It's really nuts. I truly feel sorry for the folks who have to rely on this company for real financial products, like mortgages or savings accounts, What a nightmare it must be to deal with this company on a daily basis. These collection efforts are just an FDCPA class action waiting to happen. It's like we bought a car from the mob.

Making it impossible to bank with them now; these new hours are definitely the definition for "bankers hours"!

If you finance a car through this Credit Union be prepared. When I made my June payment they took out $82 from the payment I made and counted that as interested. The only way you can save interest is to make larger payments or more payments each month and I'm not sure even that would work.I just hope the automatic payments I'm going to be making from now on will show up on the app on my phone so I know what my balance will be.

I called today to get a debit card for my account. I was transferred 3 times spent an hour on the phone. The supervisor was no help. The incompetence of the customer care department is the beyond belief. Over 6 years and I have not I experienced such poor service. While on hold the talk about wealth management I would trust such decisions to the people I encountered today…the IQ of a rock!!!

The TDECU Fraud Prevention Department has something wrong with their evaluation of potential fraudulent transactions. I routinely purchase products from Amazon, becasue I purchased several products for my grandchildren who live in different places within the same hour, TDECU declined the purchases. Fraud prevention called me, wassted my time, and promised to remove the hold on my card. However, whenever Amazon sent me an email the next day notifying me of the decline and asking me to fix the card issue, I tried to purchase the product again, only to have it declined again. This process has been repeated 3 times now. I have decided to change banking institutions.
