Very good, higher end, slightly used if not new items at very reasonable prices and extraordinary sales plus the in store auctions and silent auctions ads another variety of shopping experiences! If you haven't stopped in, you are truly missing out! Both my sons who are not big shoppers, leave with a bag full every visit! “I find the cutest stuff here!! Follow them on Instagram and you will always be able to see what the extra discount for the day is. They frequently discount 40% off everything in the store. It is also pretty well organized. I also highly recommend shopping here rather than Goodwill or another chain because you know the profits are going towards supporting women and their children.My only complaint is the fitting rooms are closed. Since you cannot return the clothes, I have frequently put stuff back on the rack because I wasn’t sure if it would fit me.”

“I visit quite a few Goodwill's but Benbrook, Texas has the best Employee's by far. Clean store with nice products, I am always greeted at the door. Recently, new shelves went in. I always witness Leslie working extremely hard bringing out more product and Jessica was busy cleaning shelves and making everything nice and neat. The mix of men and women workers at this store is the very best. They seem to genuinely get along with co-workers and always happy. This makes for a very pleasant shopping experience. Thank you for this store, my only complaint would be......MAKE IT BIGGER. LOL”

“I came here to offer my review of the Family Thrift on Hulen. First, they do seem more clean than most thrift stores and “organized” from its days on McCart. I should say mostly organized, as really have to go through things. That may not necessarily be the employees, but maybe customers not placing items back in the correct spot. I do find that things can be pretty pricey here. If the item is not worth it to me, then I don’t purchase it. I have left there pretty bummed, not being able to purchase something. But clearly, who is going to pay more than what they would at a store when purchasing the item brand new at another store. Not me! That being said, I have had some really great finds, you just have to take the time to look. I enjoy thrifting, so I don’t mind flipping through the clothes or whatnot. One of the things I take issue with is the prices on home items, decor etc…Very overpriced! I like to pick up unique items…dishes, things I can use for crafting or decorate with. As another reviewer stated, she likes to be left to just roam, look at things and shop. And that hasn’t been an issue for me. The first time I went in there after they opened, an employee reminded me about taking hangers off. Again, this doesn’t bother me. 1. I can get out of there faster 2. things won’t get stretched while they are in a hurry 3. I have something to do, while waiting in line. Heck, at least I don’t feel like I have to check myself out, like in the big box stores! All of this to say…Are some items more pricey or not worth what you want to pay? If yes, then don’t buy it. I do the same and it is frustrating but you do the same at any other store. Yes, they are donated items, they do give to charity but they also have overhead ie. Paying employees, keeping the lights on. Amongst other things. If there’s an employee being rude, talk to a manager, if the manager does nothing escalate the process if the issue is big enough. Organization could be better…by size, not color. And keeping fitting rooms open until closing time, keeping in mind of your own zero return policy. Overall, I do enjoy shopping here. I just keep in mind that I will spend time browsing, trying on, keeping up with the prices as they are being rang up and ignoring the people that feel the need to be rude. And remember, it could be another shopper being rude. Oh and one more thing! And this is the one that probably bothers me the most. The people in the back have the music turned up so loud from the back. It’s as if there’s a party going on back there. Heck, I love music, even loud music but there is a time and place. It has been so loud that I couldn’t hear myself think. And have had my child call me , wondering where I was because of the loud music. Anyways, just wanted to share that.”

“I had a very positive experience at this Goodwill store. The store was clean, well organized, and easy to shop in. The employees were kind, professional, and clearly doing their best to provide good customer service.
Unfortunately, while I was there, I witnessed an uncomfortable situation where a customer was behaving disrespectfully toward a cashier, a woman, making inappropriate comments and creating an unnecessary scene. I recognized this individual ( Yulma ) because they have shown similar behavior in other stores as you can clearly see they on all her reviews, always complaining and causing problems over minor issues.
It’s unfortunate that people like this try to overshadow the hard work of employees. Customers who bring only negativity and leave unfair reviews do not reflect the true experience of this store. The Goodwill staff deserves respect for the patience and professionalism they show every day.
My experience was genuinely positive, and I will continue to support this location. I highly recommend this store and appreciate the great work of its team.”
