“I lived in that area most of my life in Fort Worth. I don't live in the area anymore. I would go here whenever I needed a quick oil change and my daughter would take her car there when she was younger. We always felt comfortable at this shop. I needed an oil change and drove to the west side just for this place to change my oil. I feel better than going to a 5 min oil change places. I have always had great service thats why I keep going back. It's been around 20 years that I have taken my business there. I would recommend.”

“I was driving to an event in Fort Worth from all the way up in Denton. I was about to get into Fort Worth and I got a flat tire on my motorcycle. Josh the Manager just happened to be parked nearby when I parked at a gas station and offered to help me fix my flat. He called one of his trucks to stop by and inflate and plug the hole in my tire. I offered to pay him and he refused and said it’s what they do. Such a great company. I would 100% recommend them!”

“Was reconmended by someone on reddit because i had some problems with my 2017 Lancer. Met John (Son of Mr Lee) nice guy. No issues, no problems. Asked for a estimate, he gave a pretty reasonable one.
I will update if anything bad happens when I do get it fixed”
“They were able to very quickly and efficiently diagnose my problem(s) and offer multiple options. Customer service was top notch all the way. James took care of everything and was my contact throughout. They shuttled me back home, even though I was about a mile or so outside their shuttle range.
It was an expensive repair but I blame the state of the economy. Coming back soon for my state inspection.”

“I've had a horrible experience with a local shop here in Abilene TX..That is causing me major grief 11 months later. $2,800 for a bunch of rtv gasket maker and a missing transfer case to tranny bolt. I decided to call the DFW area and found Standard Transmission and Gear to be above the standard. I've only spoken over the phone but, just over the phone the guy was more help than 3 different local shops here in Abilene TX. Standard Transmission and Gear has absolutely helped give me some peace of mind and knowledge on what my next step should be. Very helpful over the phone and soon as the transmission is crack open and a parts list is made I will be calling back to spend my hard earned money with these guys... I suggest anyone with manual transmission problems call the best in Texas... Standard Transmission and Gear!!!”

“Had them work on my transmission about a year ago. Torque converter went out after about a year and I brought it in and they honored their warranty. Fixed it right away and we’re up and running again. Nice to see someone stand behind their repairs. Other shops would’ve had a 1000 and one reasons why it wasn’t their fault. Thank you Clint!”
