The branch manager Michelle solved my issue quickly within 15 minutes of coming into the branch. I had issues getting help from the main corporate number on a large account balance. Very happy with her service.

I know that it's hard to find people who even want to work and everyone is new one day, but 20 minutes to deposit 2 checks and a half dozen rolls of coins is ridiculous. Girl recounted everything at least 3 times than told me twice my deposit slip was wrong (it wasn't). Had my account number but still needed 2 forms of ID. A little more training is needed!!! Maybe a lot for this girl.

The lady at the front with black long hair is super unprofessional. She didn’t want to take off hold for me because “she didn’t know me”? I understand if there is a hold and you can do nothing about it but she proceeded to ask me “You really want me to call ALL these banks for you?” Like really? What great customer service. Sorry you would “rather be in bed” is what she told someone over the phone as she was helping me. JUST opened my account last night and I am definitely canceling it by today. Thanks to ONE person.

Morning time: I walked in & as usual, I was greeted so graciously. I went in with the purpose of simply pulling some money out, but as we talked, I realized they could help me out by lowering some interest I was paying for a loan & transfer some monies to a no-interest 2% payback credit card on all purchases. Afternoon: My 50K personal loan was already approved & deposited into my checking & credit card was approved and activated. 10min later: Pablo, their fabulous loan officer, walked over my funds via free of charge cashiers check of 50k to my Wells Fargo Account. What bank does that? Kudos to their Team Leader: Karen Russell who expects excellence & it shows. When they presented it to me that morning it was "Hassle-Free" - they weren't lying !!! This is the 3rd major loan I've gotten at this branch, and each time, it's been handled so professionally. They truly have a 'town friendly' bank with all sorts of innovative products for each person's unique financial needs. They even referred me to another bank 2 yrs ago when they couldn't meet my needs - what bank does that? I'm so impressed with their ethics & professionalism. I HIGHLY recommend this BBVA branch in Lakeway, TX.

I walked in and worked with Carmen today who is usually at the Bee Cave branch but was filling in at the Lakeway location. I was well taken care of, everything was explained with offers and options gone over thoroughly, I was never rushed despite that they were closing at 1 pm and I would highly recommend this branch as well as Carmen for 5 star customer service. I'll be transferring all of my accounts here!

The self proclaimed "award winning" mobile banking app is problematic. In addition, BBVA technical support is poorly trained and has yet to resolve why the mobile check deposit feature does not work. I just made my 6th and final call to them and received the same tired story. ..uninstall & reinstall the mobile app. There are also plenty of broken promises that the issue would be escalated to a higher authority/management for a solution. But, it never happens. Obviously BBVA has little interest in retaining my business. Time to find a better bank.

Negative stars. The rudest most arrogant manager I have ever met. I walked in to open an account and she basically talked me out of it ,,,,indicating I would need to immediately open a credit line immediately. Another bank pushing product claiming to care about the end client! I'd rather bank with a computer, ie. schwab bank!

To all those out there NEVER use this company. If you are a physician NEVER get a physician loan from them. Let me explain: 1. They have the worse and most incompetent customer service with complete disregard for customers credit or satisfaction. 2. They assess thousands of dollars of forced insurance without first contacting loan holders and it takes hours of calls to reverse the charges. 3. They annually over estimate escrow making millions in interest off their customers. 4. Physician loans are kept as portfolio loans and many different departments such as insurance and online payments have NO IDEA how to manage them. 5. After you deal with the branch manager who claims they will keep the loan as a portfolio loan they have no ability to problem solve or communicate. @drewdaniels 6. They have significant issues setting up direct withdraw as reported by multiple friends and from personal experience. AVOID THEIR PHYSIAN LOANS!!!!!!!!!
