Happy I swung by HEB today. As I was walking towards the energy drinks, I found myself down the aisle where the paper supplies are. Found the most adorable sticky notes. Texas shaped! Are you kidding me! Love! A total must have. Great price too! Also, yes, my energy drink. I so need this today. My happy little work drink. They did go up in price. But still a decent price and they had my favorite flavor, orange. Used the self check out. Was very quick and the cashier, giggles, was super friendly. Haha. I was the cashier.

Love this HEB. Clean, organized, fresh veggies, not a shared parking lot = less frantic. Wish they had more organic products and produce (and not wrapped in plastic). Parking = easy, plentiful Cashiers = friendly Self check out = yes Pharmacy = yes Money mart = yes Lotto = yes Garden center = yes Left side - pet food and frozen goods Right side - produce, deli, wine Highlights here: great fresh guac, cooked chicken, and all Alani (energy drink) flavors available!

Pharmacy staff don't always help in finding the lowest price possible. I understand they have to provide service to so many customers.But if I the customer can suggest ways to lower my out of pocket cost, then please work with me for a few minutes.

I’ve received really poor customer service every time I call over the phone to ask a question. They act like every question is the biggest favor ever for them to answer- are customers or management just treating the staff like trash for them to act this way? I know they are understaffed whenever I go pick up medication, HEB really needs to hire more pharmacy staff. I work in the service industry too, a lot of work needs to be done at this pharmacy.

Everything is bigger in Texas! This HEB is no exception. I'm staying with family in the area and we had to pick up a few things like iced coffee, milk, bloody mary mix, limes and frozen yogurt. (Interesting mix, i know). I was immediately overwhelmed by the size of this place. It's huge. We don't have anything quite like this in upstate NY...especially the wine and liquor section! The variety of wine choices was on par with any well stocked NYS liquor store. Basically, whatever you might need/don't need - or just want - you'll find it here. Did a little research and found out the this is a privately owned chain - by the "Butt" family. HEB stands for "Herbert E. Butt" - and they're based out of San Antonio, TX. Not sure if all of the stores are as clean and well stocked as this one....but it's impressive for sure.

Please do not use this pharmacy. They are literally the worst pharmacy around. They won't let you know when prescriptions are ready, medication supposed to be ready at 9am and still not ready after 4pm (multiple occasions), and a general bad attitude of the staff. I want to clarify this is only for the pharmacy. The grocery store is one of the best around! It makes it all that more disappointing with the pharmacy. Do yourself a favor and go across the street to Walgreens.

I love this pharmacy! This is by far the best retail chain pharmacy I’ve ever used. There are plenty who could take lessons from these people. Other HEB pharmacies especially.They do have one person who is very difficult to deal with and it’s unfortunate. It does bring down the overall warm & fuzzy feeling from time to time. This person has terrible phone skills, seems to confuse ring back and new incoming calls often hence the hang ups or being placed on hold without a word.I just grin and bear it. I know that person tries and may just be in a bit too deep perhaps.Not specific to this HEB, the 8-8 hours are tough for me personally. I sure wish that would return to normal again! Since I’m medical field I usually work 7a-7p. I’m often unable to pick up my prescriptions.

I am a HUGE fan of HEB in Lakeway Texas. I can't imagine shopping anywhere else for my groceries and medication. But I have had 2 or 3 bad experiences with the Pharmacy in the last week. There is one individual who I will not name has been beyond rude and down right unprofessional. I can't say enough for the rest of the staff. But this woman's behavior is going to start turning a lot of people away.

Not bad for a chain. And a local one at least. My only issue is congested parking and the size of the locations accounts for busy, crowded and overwhelming at times really. Whole Foods and Randall's are way less crowded, and perhaps not as popular, but often preferred. Still H‑E‑B has some great prices and a good selection. With old school printed coupons (which they are trying to get away from..I hope not!) to add to the savings. Ample self check out lanes. And always friendly staff..truly some of the best customer service at a grocery store. Glad to have some nice well kept locations nearby (as the inner city locations can be even more congested and sketchy). We truly are spoiled with our selections here..not complaining.

I appreciate H‑E‑B protocol for COVID and variant's, it's up too customers to follow, I used delivery and curbside, the delivery curbside always have mask on, it's appreciated even iam fully vaccinated! It's appreciated by me and grateful for all of the choices available to customers!! I salute the workers that made a choice to apply and got hired by H‑E‑B, you have been trained well, if someone is not exemplary, of that training it's not all staff fault. Everyone has off days even customers, the ones who are not following protocol make choices as we all do!! Continue on H‑E‑B staff I need the service COVID or not!!
